It is. Only from the edge, that is, from the immediate vicinity of the other side, the belly of the thumb, that is, the direction of the thumb joint, the width of the thumb itself is that size. The remaining lower part of that place, that is, after the small Magadha liter is cooked, its opening part can hold twice the liter, as long as it matches itself and the subsequent seasoning, it can hold twice the liter on it, or what it can hold, this is the same as the inseparable principle. Thirty-two of grain oil, ghee, honey, and water, etc., are Magadha liters. The others, those that are not requests, sixteen are called those that only think of matter. Therefore, here sixteen ounces of water should be understood as expressed in Magadha liters. Here, in the scriptures, wherever the small Magadha liter of rice is cooked, together with the amount of beans and seasoning, put into the belly of the thumb, without touching the opening part, that is the large size. Where there is only that one, that is the small one. Between these two, it is called medium. Here, as a measure, in two ways, that is, grasping small beans and commerce, using parts to indicate that small beans and seasonings have been abandoned here, therefore, for the various distinctions of seasonings, using multiple parts to indicate here, that is, how much seasoning to eat, it will expand, the amount of seasoning depends on the size of the bowl, not others, this is its meaning. Because the places are different, in order to eliminate the fault of mixing small, medium, and superior, the size produced from the limbs will be described. It is called eight Mangsa Seva. Eight Mangsa want one Xiu. One gold Xiu, this is the best saying. Eight gold Xiu is one tael. A bhikkhuni should not reduce the smaller work of a bhikkhu, which refers to what the bhikkhus consider smaller is the large of this, the smaller is this, that is, how much the size of the bowl is used to complete the alms, this is understood through meaning. Therefore, lead summer leaves should be placed on its base, for this matter, she said the bhikkhuni. Its meaning is the bowl. The meaning of the base is the direction of the land where this is placed, that is, which land

Here, it means "the basis is there." What is its shape like? Therefore, it is like the leaves of a Bodhi tree and a Palmyra tree, or like the palm of a hand. It is said, "Also from the measure," not only the shape, but also from the measure, it should be done like this, and the rest is not, because the meaning is the same. It is not lacking, but to accomplish it correctly. Touching the ground without digging and mixing is the meaning of giving. It is said, "The attendant is also the same as that," being the same as that means being the same as the bowl. The attendant should not be expelled and ordained without a bowl. One cannot be without a bowl in the summer. Having said these and other transgressions, therefore, these were done. It is said, "The five are also the same," just as the three Dharma robes and their basis and container are the same as the bowl, so is this also the meaning. Here, the scriptures can therefore be known that the attendants should also be expelled with the six requisites, and it is said that one should not be expelled without a container and its basis. Therefore, it should be known as falling. One cannot be without a bowl in the summer. One should not go to travel in the fields. It is said that when there is fear, the bowl should also be taken when it is small. Here, the scripture is that Nanda was expelled without a bowl, and he went to travel with the monks and arrived in the country of Karpataka. There, the householder invited the monks to eat, until the newly ordained person had no bowl, so the householder scolded him, and the Blessed One said, "A monk should not travel in the fields without a bowl." After those who took without giving were scolded, the Blessed One said, "The bowl should be respected and placed when it is small. The bowl should also be placed nearby in the summer. If there is none, it should be expelled. One should not stand to take out, put in, and dry the bowl.

"It should be used appropriately" means to fully show the meaning of its enjoyment. "Do not pour in what others have discarded" refers to others. "Discarded" refers to having the nature of being discarded. He does not discard the whisk. "Do not discard bad things either" means the meaning of not discarding. Do not pour in water from hands and mouth. Do not let immoral novices do cleaning. Do not use sand and clay. Do not put it back too wet. Do not make it too dry. "Do not put it on the stone" means that the placement is temporary. Do not put it in an unclean place. "Do not put it randomly" means connecting to "place" and "not putting". "Do not put it there" means that random placement is a permanent prohibition, not just temporary. "A groove should be made for this" means for the purpose of placing the bowl. "Groove" refers to the name of the hole. "How to make a groove?" Therefore, when building temples and houses, do not use the method of digging walls. The monks say that the groove should be closed, which is done for the purpose of placing the bowl. The term "groove in the sky" is a term elsewhere. "What is it made of?" Therefore, it is said that it is made of bamboo or thread, which means that the nature of the thread itself changes. "Smear with clay and mud" refers to a cover of that nature. For this cover, clay and mud of the nature of bamboo or the nature of thread should also be smeared. There, it is best to hang it on a tree with a rope. Do not put it randomly. "Do not send it to others" refers to the groove. Sending it means tying a rope, for the bowl. "By hand" means not sending. "With the armpit" refers to the bowl. When carrying, tie a rope. Bowls, medicines, and molasses should be placed in different containers, which means one container for the bowl, one container for medicine, and one container for molasses. Molasses also refers to bamboo shoots and Chang, etc.
