It abides therein. Because disrespect towards the Sangha and disrespect towards the Buddha are very great sins. At no time did the venerable Magha and Bhada commit any offenses, because they did not give rise to disrespect. It is also said that because they bestowed requests in accordance with the Dharma. Because of disrespect for the precepts, they are violated. If there is no respect for the Buddha, then what is to be done with this unreasonable thing? To do things with its words, etc., is a transgression. If there is only a little bit of the precepts, or a bad intention, what is to be done with this, etc., giving rise to disrespect for the precepts is an evil deed. The remaining five should be summarized from this, the words of the king and the Arhat and the elders of the Sangha should not be disturbed, it is said. A transgression of the nature of disrespect. What must be done to become a transgression of drinking intoxicants? Therefore, it is said to drink intoxicants, and the word drinking is used to say drinking, so it should be understood as drinking. If it is boiled, then it is lost from that, meaning that if the intoxicant is boiled, then it is lost from the intoxicant itself, meaning that there is no transgression for drinking boiled intoxicants, this is how it is summarized. Eating the dregs and sediment of alcohol has its entry, meaning that the transgression of intoxicants has its entry. Here the scripture says that if you eat the dregs, you commit a transgression. If you eat the sediment, you commit a transgression, this is how it is summarized. The residue of alcohol is only half, meaning that half of the intoxicant is only an evil deed. The roots and stems and leaves and flowers and fruits, those that are intoxicating are also. The drinks with intoxicating smells and tastes, those that are not intoxicating are also, meaning that half is entered. There is no fault in just the color being similar to an intoxicant, meaning that here in the scripture it says that there is no transgression in drinking something that is only similar in color to an intoxicant.

Thus it is said. To smear oil on the cheeks and body, saying it is like intercourse, for those who do not wish to eat (by others) and do not wear any ornaments, it is to dispel their thought that it is like intercourse, so it is said here. Using the doctor's medical principles to do these things, the words without falling into sin, indicate this meaning, so this sutra says: The pores enter the food, the body is oiled, this is a fault here. For the patient, there is no falling into sin, meaning that smearing the cheeks and body for the patient, it should be understood immediately. For things that cause intoxication, the precepts are established, and permission is not allowed, this is written for this reason. Drinking things that cause intoxication will commit a transgression. For the transgression of going at the wrong time, who is the author? Therefore, it is said "knowing is the main thing", meaning that knowing is the main thing. For whom is knowing the main thing? Therefore, it is said "for the wrong time", meaning that from one's own midnight to before dawn, this is not the wrong time, which shows the characteristics of the wrong time. What kind of special bhikkhu is the author? Therefore, it is said "for the bhikkhu who has not informed the residing bhikkhu", meaning that not informing the residing bhikkhu is included here. What has been done, for that bhikkhu, is knowing the main thing? Therefore, it is said "entering the village", meaning that because the sutra says that the residence of one household is also a village, therefore the residence with only one house is also a village, which is included in it. Places that have the Dharma of the village, especially places of practice, will be called villages, therefore, for entering the residence of non-Buddhist renunciants without informing, it should be known that there is no fault. For a walled village, if entering until the door is closed, it should be known that it is completely entered. For an unwalled village, it should be determined by the edge of the wall. Is it for all entrants?
