The term "that which is Na-no" is summarized by this. If a sick person has not received the Bhikshu vows, then food should be offered to one who has not received the Bhikshu vows, which means offering food to the sick person, which is permissible. As for following the permissible things, since that is not given to one who has received the Bhikshu vows, it is not given, therefore it should not be done. The so-called "one who has not received the Bhikshu vows should eat" refers only to the sick person, because he is the giver, so it should not be known that it should not be done, that is its meaning. Here, the root rule is the two rituals of the offense of falling by sleeping with one who has not received the Bhikshu vows. And the offense of falling by eating without having been given. Milk, yogurt, ghee, fish meat, and dried meat are considered food offerings, which refers to kinds like that. The so-called "that is the author" refers to this being a food offering, and that is the author of this offense of falling. The so-called "the giver is a relative, even if it is a householder" refers to a householder who is not a relative, that is, a householder who is not a relative, whose things are like that. Here, the author of the giver, that is, others who have become friends, refers to this food offering. When "non-relative" is mentioned, the root rule is: If a Bhikshu does not disturb the taste, and takes food offerings from various houses to eat for himself, will doing so or eating not constitute an offense of falling? Yes, if he takes it from a relative and eats it, there is no offense of falling, that is what is to be shown. For a renunciate, when is it not the making of a misdeed, and this is the sign of an offense of falling? Here, this should be understood through the words of the householder. If those two are the authors of this offense of falling, when is it? Therefore it is said, "If one takes it and eats it himself." If one takes it and eats it himself. If one who is not sick takes it or has someone go to beg, this will constitute a misdeed, which refers to one who is not sick taking it himself, those two are merely the authors of a misdeed, and if one who is not sick has someone go to beg, and having had someone go to beg, eats it, then those two are the authors of a misdeed. Having one who is not sick go to beg will become a minor misdeed. If that is not the case, in all cases, are those two the authors of this that should not be blamed? Therefore,

It is said that it is about "not giving as one pleases." To whom one begs, if that person has not done it, it means not giving as one pleases. Here, the scripture refers to a monk who, while begging for alms, goes to a house and takes the food of a woman and comes out. If the monk stands there without saying a word, and the woman asks, "What does the venerable one want?" this can be said to be giving alms. There is no transgression in taking what one wants. There is no transgression in the almsgiver giving as they please, it is said. Therefore, obtaining bad, good, ordinary, or good things, even if one takes them, it is okay. Because there is no giving as one pleases, this is the author. Someone who gives as they please will definitely appear here. For those who are close to gathering, it is not the author. Even if one obtains something from that, if there is no taking related to this person, even if one takes it and eats it, it is the real author. For this bad thing, only half, meaning that for the person who takes and eats, the author himself is shown, for this bad thing, only half, it is a minor offense. Taking and eating oneself is a minor offense, and it also includes the act of making others beg. Here, the scripture refers to a monk who, when obtaining milk, if he begs for yogurt, begging for this is a minor offense, but if he drinks the milk, there is no transgression. When a monk obtains good things, if he begs for bad things, begging for this is also a minor offense, and if he eats it, it is a transgression, it is said. For obtaining bad things themselves, everything is the author of minor offenses, this is to be understood with half the words. Taking food out, without saying a word or refusing, asking what he wants to beg for, this is giving as one pleases, meaning that for this question, it is giving as one pleases. Therefore, here, one can take what one wants from a child. Begging for good things will incur a transgression. Entering and using the meaning of one's own practice, these are for the meaning of others approaching and using, such as the begging bowl and Dharma robes in the monastery of the Sangha.
