The meaning of saying "like a heretic" is that here it should be regarded as like a heretic. Just as the dwelling place of a heretic renunciant is the maker of misdeeds, so this renunciant is the master, and this dwelling place, which is not the dwelling place of all strange things, is also the maker of misdeeds. Here, the meaning is that there is no downfall. Here, the scripture says that if a bhikshu renunciant is allowed to reside, what offense would a bhikshu commit if he sought more than one umbrella? The answer is: it is a misdeed. Saying "also recently" should be connected to "like a heretic." Here, the scripture says that if it is allowed by the master himself, what offense would be committed? The answer is: he would become the maker of misdeeds. Some say that there is no downfall in these, which is unreasonable. Because it is unreasonable to hold any meaning that depends on a renunciant. Eating in one dwelling place leads to downfall. If it is said that "alms-gathering is the maker," then, with whom is this alms-gathering related to be the maker? Therefore, it is said "forcefully," meaning that by grasping what is not given, it generates taking what is not given. How is it forceful? Therefore, it is said "completely inflated," meaning that what is inflated is widely shown, but that is not because of the entry of giving. There, this fault is generated. If this is complete use, then so much should be given, but for what is inflated, showing it widely is not inflation. Therefore, there is no fault here. Is everything that is not inflated the maker of force? Therefore, it is said "not done at will," meaning that the entry of giving is force. For what is not done at will, there is no fault here. Does this apply to all situations? Therefore, it is said "householder," meaning with how much quantity is the alms-gathering related to be the maker? Therefore, the measure of small bre is cooked rice porridge, except for half and five parts of a small Magadha bre.

More meritorious than that is having a share with companions. Having said this, the act of giving more than five and a half small measures of cooked food is the doer. How much is the measure of a small measure? Therefore, it is said to be cooked, referring to cooked rice, the measure of a small Magadha measure, which is one full measure. "Except for vegetables" means that vegetables should not be counted here. When gathering and taking, should taking together with companions be counted or not? Therefore, it is said to be with a share of companions. Here, the text means that if desired, two or three full bowls of those monks should be taken, and the doer himself said the words "two or three." Where, under this, is the meritorious act related to this the doer? Therefore, it is said, "When eating." Is it all that is eaten? Therefore, it is said, "Accepted," meaning placing what is obtained. Here, the text says that after requesting, remaining there, there is no transgression no matter how much is eaten. For that, it is the doer of a misdeed, here it is not accepted. Here is the doer of a misdeed. "Acceptance by others also" means that even if one eats after causing others to accept, it is the doer of a misdeed. Here, the text says that after requesting, if ghee and oil are given, then causing others to accept more than two or three bowls below that is a misdeed. For others, there is no transgression. Here, the text is this: remaining there, there is no transgression even if one eats without giving. Here, this sutra was made to dispel doubts about misdeeds. "Also for what has not been done" means that there is no transgression in accepting and eating rice and other things that have not been cooked, meaning that there is no fault, but there is another fault of taking a small amount of grain. Therefore, for this, it should not be understood that there is nothing more here. If what should be taken is indeed much, it should be distributed to the monks.
