It should not be done. The term "should carry him" refers to that patient. The term "similarly for nuns" means that nuns should also not be abandoned on the road, which is the meaning of "should carry him." This is because of inability, in order to dispel the doubt of saying "should not be done" to nuns. The term "help each other" refers to monks and nuns. The term "for him" refers to carrying the patient. If asked, "How should it be done?" Therefore, it is said, "Grasp from the head in reverse," meaning that one should grasp from the end of the head from the other side. Even if one goes to the village, there is no fault in going. If asked, "Is there no fault in going at any time?" Therefore, it is said, "Mix the patient's medicine and food well, and place a compatible attendant," the term "compatible" means the same gender, that is, place a man with a man and a woman with a woman. If asked, "With whom will one incur a downfall by going together?" Therefore, it is said, "On a dangerous road, unless one enters a convenient place and walks without separating, even if one walks on the road with a nun," the term "on a dangerous road, entering a convenient place, that is, going with the owner to take a single object, other than that." For a nun, even if there is only one companion, if she is made to walk on the road, that is the meaning. Here, the term of convenience for monks is only to indicate the type. Therefore, it is said, "Even with a nun." Even on a dangerous road, it is reasonable to walk separately. Therefore, it is shown that as long as one enters a convenient place, there is no fault in just walking together. If it is a dangerous place, walking alone is another situation. If asked, "To what extent is it considered crossing?" Therefore, it is said, "Each krosha." Therefore, it is said, "Each one has a fault," which means that each krosha is a root offense, and half of each krosha is a minor offense. In order to eliminate, this is on the road.

For traveling, a measure of one krosha means that half is already completed. Walking together with a bhikshuni on the road is a downfall. What is the downfall of boarding a boat? Therefore, it is said that unless both shores are dangerous, if they embrace each other and cross the path of one boat together, it is a downfall. Except for going directly to the other shore. Exceeding the path, each krosha or half krosha should be added with an offense of wrong-doing. Even one bhikshuni... etc., this together with the third meaning, is obtained through meaning. If one crosses and goes from a place where both shores are dangerous? Unless embracing each other, together with a bhikshuni, therefore, when entering, because of tilting, sinking, waves, shifting work, oars, hull breaking, and holding the oar, there is no fault in entering another place. That is to say, because of tilting etc., or because of the oars and hull, or because of holding the oar, for the purpose of going directly to the other shore, if there is entering, there is no fault in entering another place. Boarding a boat together with a bhikshuni is a downfall. If the downfall of dwelling alone, what limbs are the agents? Therefore, it is said that a woman alone, and the absence of a lineage of people, and a secluded place, and a place with protection, and an intermediate space, these are the agents. A woman alone is a woman alone. Here, dwelling in a secluded place, the agent is the woman herself, this is because of the particularity that relies on this, that is to say, it is not the woman herself. Because of the difference, how is it a secluded place? Therefore, it is said that because there is no lineage of people. That is to say, if there is a continuous lineage of many people here. A place with protection, here it is said to be obscured by a wall, or obscured by thatch, or obscured by a curtain. This is also merely symbolic, existing by cutting off the place where it is seen. Likewise, bhikshu

From distinguishing ignorance, one can also eliminate thick darkness, which is called merely relying on protection, and the amount of a span. Living together with women, where are these actors? Therefore, it is said, "When sitting." What is its nature? Therefore, it is said, "That is merely placing the buttocks." "That" refers to sitting. The downfall of sitting alone. After immediately showing this, acknowledge all of these, and then some differences will be stated. Therefore, it is said, "Bhikkhuni and face." This is in the place of women. This is showing the difference, here only the bhikkhuni is the actor, and not just the woman. Again, why is it only relying on women here? For the sake of merit, standing and so on, because these are all related to this, so living together with a laywoman, this is called evasion. Where are those actors? Here, it will be said that the entry obtained from the position of sitting, it is said, "When standing." The downfall of standing alone. "Knowing is primary" refers to the actor who primarily knows. Mainly knowing, this is from its distinction, if the bhikkhu knows and eats it, if the bhikkhuni arranges it, if the bhikkhuni knows that it is arranged, just like this there is scripture. Otherwise, following the precept of knowing, here it is distinguishing knowledge. Where is the knowledge? Therefore, it is said, "When the bhikkhuni arranges it." Here, arranging refers to sending, sending is expression. That is also with language, not with letters and so on. Because it is said that arranging to eat, from the request it is said to be a misdeed, so letters and so on, as well as hand calculation and sending, through transmission and indirectly arranging offerings, eating it is a misdeed. How is it when arranging? Therefore, it is untrue merit.
