When giving, one should abide for four months. When abiding and giving, the food comes from the Sangha, the clothes from the Khenpo, and the one who appoints is the one who acts. For those who come for ordination, one should ask if they are fifteen years old, which is the duty of the Khenpo. Those who are not, cannot drive away crows; those who can, but are not seven years old, should not be ordained. Those who are not fifteen years old cannot, and those who are not seven years old can, these two should not be ordained. What is the meaning of saying so much? It means that the requester knows this is incorrect and should not request, and the Sangha should not allow it, nor should they make him obtain the status of a novice, nor should they make him accomplish the status of a novice, which is for the purpose of briefly summarizing. One should not place more than one novice, meaning that one should not place more than two novices. To eliminate the fault that also applies to the second ordained person, if they do not want them to be ordained separately, they should say to let the elder take full ordination. We determine that for those who come like this, in order for both to be ordained, if they do not want them to be ordained separately, then let both be ordained, and then let the elder who is more than one take full ordination. If they are not twenty years old, they should be entrusted to another for the purpose of temporary residence, meaning that if they are not twenty years old, they should be entrusted to another Bhikshu for the purpose of residence. When entrusted to another for the purpose of residence, the one who accepts the entrustment should not take him away, meaning that the one who accepts the entrustment should let him take full ordination. For those who do not give, they are forced by power, because for the sake of this ritual, it is given by another's residence, but not all of them are like this, therefore one should not take away. To employ is a servant, meaning that with the name "to employ," are you not a servant? And so on, names related to servants, are placed separately. Therefore, for what this name refers to, no matter how one admits, no matter what the situation, one should abide truthfully as it is.

It is so. Here, language is also produced in this way. For those who approach for the sake of ordination, one should ask, "Are you not a slave?" Those who receive full ordination should also not be allowed to ordain from the status of a slave, nor should they be given full ordination. If you are released, do you owe debts to others, whether much or little, is there any slight arrears? To release you, is to say that you are freed? To be separated from your voice is to say that you are being employed. In this place of "you," one should say "to you." Therefore, the language is like this: do you owe debts to others, whether much or little, is there any slight arrears? For those who approach for the sake of ordination, one should ask in this way. Those who grant full ordination, for those who are in debt, they should not be allowed to ordain, nor should they be granted full ordination, using such mantras. From this mantra, after allowing them to ordain, then full ordination can be granted. One should separately understand those who are able to give alms, and one should separately calculate the numbers excluding debts. Those who wish to ordain, if their parents are alive and have not given their permission, if they are not far from home, they should wait for seven days. Parents are alive, and those who possess parents are those whose parents are alive. Not having their permission refers to the parents. These two words refer to the parents, and here one should understand it with the word "parents." Even if they are far from home, if they have not reported to the Sangha, they should not be allowed to ordain. This "they" refers to the situation where the parents are alive but have not given permission. Among these two situations, parents are alive or parents have given permission but have not reported, it is also considered faultless. Even so, one should ask those whose parents are alive. Monks, if some people's parents have passed away, or have been reborn as animals, then for the sake of shaving their hair, is it necessary to report to the entire Sangha? Or should one not be close? It is said so. Why is it said that they are far from home? Because some householder's wives, their sons come to ordain...
