Because it is a branch, here it is a reproach. To pass by in silence, this is a metaphor, know that this is used to understand everything other than words. Where does the offense of lying occur? Therefore, it is said that lying other than those two (referring to the root offenses) and the offenses of defeat and the remainder of the Sangha. The so-called "establishing thought" etc., is to be understood here following the extensively explained offenses of defeat. The so-called "those two" refers to the two types of lying that have just been mentioned, which are gross offenses and offenses of wrong-doing. It means that other than these four types of lying, the offense here will be committed. Regarding the arising of thought when wanting to speak, it is called lying. Regarding the arising of thought after speaking without doubt, there will be no lying. If there is doubt about this, in order to dispel this doubt, it should be said: even if the thought arises at the time of speaking, that is all arising. The so-called "arising of thought" should be understood with the meaning of "becoming another saying." The so-called "that" refers to lying. Also, the word "also" refers to wanting to speak. Here, what are the two types of lying mentioned in the scripture? Lying knowingly, refers to thinking "I will speak a lie"; after speaking, thinking "I have spoken a lie." Therefore, here lying itself has two types, because these two exist, it is said to have two types. It is not just one alone. Therefore, it shows the lying that has two types, like that, it is also said that lying with only one type does not exist. For the one who is determined to speak, his speech with thought is the meaning of the phrase "this is also established," it is not for the thought itself. Regarding the thought, becoming speech, it is also not established. For the previous thought, the later thought is the nature of abiding,

The meaning of "not from before" is saying, do not take an oath. The meaning of not abandoning the oath is summarized from trivial matters. It is not that all things conform to my true situation, this indicates that, that there is no oath. Therefore, because this is the side of false statements, it is abandoned here. Likewise, monks want to speak the truth, and when mentioning "completely ordained," therefore monks should not abandon the oath. This is the downfall of false statements. If one thinks it is inappropriate and wants to speak of any fault, then what will be explained is the downfall of speaking of faults. Then, for someone who has not yet received full ordination, is it also like this to speak of thinking something is inappropriate? Therefore, "of a monk" is mentioned, here, a monk should be understood as the object, meaning speaking of the object of a monk. The following "also" means that in the downfall of sowing discord, the object should be understood as the monk himself. If said, then both of these trainings should be understood only on the object of the monk, meaning speaking to the monk. For others, speaking or telling these things belongs only to one of them, therefore it should be understood as a misdeed. Even with a pure mind, the speaking of thinking something is inappropriate has occurred. This is the distinction made to it, meaning wanting to speak of the fault itself. If asked with what kind of language, therefore "whether gentle or harsh" is mentioned, if harsh language with faults is spoken, then it will become a root downfall, while for others, it is a misdeed. Therefore, it should be correctly understood through "speaking harsh language is also included in these two trainings." Speaking of anything that is thought to be inappropriate means that, through "you are a leper" and so on, even for sounds, any statement that is thought to be disparaging to the afflicted and other near afflictions will become the downfall of speaking of faults. Even if one is not displeased,

The so-called "merely..." is synonymous with words such as anger, conflict, frustration, shyness, and being upset. Therefore, here in the scripture it is said that even if a Bhikshuni is expelled, it is acceptable. Furthermore, regarding "the king's caste or Brahmin caste, etc., are wrongdoings," the "further" refers to an idea other than thinking it is inappropriate, that is, speaking with the thought of inappropriateness about the king's caste or Brahmin caste, etc., is a wrongdoing, speaking from a fault. So, where does it constitute the downfall of sowing discord? Therefore, it is said, "Because one wants to sow discord, one says so-and-so said..." Here, the fault itself is not a limb, and the thought of inappropriateness itself is also for Brahmins, etc. Because the voice of the distinction-makers is distinguished, therefore it does not rely on this. In general, what downfall does saying "so-and-so said..." constitute? Therefore, it is said, "If one speaks from the name..." Saying "so-and-so said..." if one speaks with that person's name, if one calls that so-and-so by name, that is the meaning. That is, if one speaks with that name, then, if one says to him/her "merely a Bhikshuni," that is the meaning. For those who are not Bhikshunis, for one or both of them, one should follow after "it is a wrongdoing" to understand. Otherwise, saying "it is a wrongdoing" refers to, because it is not making one understand, therefore for the determination with characteristics such as caste, it is a wrongdoing. It is the downfall of sowing discord. The so-called "main knowledge" refers to taking knowledge as the actor itself is the main thing. From what knowledge does it arise? Therefore, it is said, "The Sangha has well pacified the dispute between the two Bhikshus," for the dispute, the Sangha correctly, by the Sangha, pacifies it. For the Sangha, it is also for the dispute itself, taking knowledge as the actor itself, that is the meaning. On the basis of the dispute, taking the dispute as the basis to recognize On the basis of the dispute, any knowledge that is obtained is included here. For both the debater and the refuter, they are both Bhikshunis
