One should spend time together with the monastery of the community. Here, some texts say that five years are obtained through alms, and five years are dependent on nearby monasteries. Therefore, it is said that it should be done for ten years. Saying this, it is understood that by saying this, a ten-year agreement including affairs is made. One should perform the separate Pratimoksha vows and the shared acquisitions. The term "separate" means individually. Together with the nearby monastery, in that monastery, the separate Pratimoksha vows should be performed with the shared acquisitions, that is the meaning. When traveling, one should deposit items in nearby monasteries, meaning that when entrusting the monastery, when one wants to leave the monastery due to old age, etc., items such as bedding and utensils should be deposited in nearby monasteries. If one stays, one should give alms, meaning that for the deposited items, in the place where they are deposited, alms should be given by the residing monks. One should not give items from other places to other places, which is spoken according to the aspect of the sutra "How to determine the acquired wealth." Here, this is said to indicate the object of the ritual of what should be given. For small items, one should not give with such force. This is also to be abandoned, that is, from the downfall of the dwelling place, it says that if one does not give, one should give to them. The "their" in it means that for whose items, those items are not given to them but given to others, one should give to them. Even if it is that patron, there is no destruction of the determination, meaning that if he and that patron become patrons in other places, then whose items become items in other places, even so, whatever is determined for whom, that is still that. If one does not give, one should take by force, meaning that if one does not appear, for the existing or non-existing items, giving alms is what should be given. This sutra is proclaimed to explain what is to be accomplished in other rituals. Here, there is no fault in taking by force, this is also.

The doctrine should also be understood. "One should only give what is borrowed" means that the property of another place is for another place. If the offering dedicated to another stupa is not successful, there is no fault. For the Great Bodhi Tree, the Wheel of Dharma, the Great Miracle, and the Descent from the Gods, those other than these are not included. "For the unsuccessful" means for obtaining those. "That offering" means the offering of the stupa. Here, the word "stupa" itself refers only to the distinction of the Buddha. It should be understood that the Rupakaya (form body) is not mentioned here. The specific mention of extreme cases, such as "Great Bodhi Tree" and so on, means that although there is no failure of offerings to these stupas in this place, it is not without fault to transfer offerings to stupas other than these four. Even if it is unsuccessful for those other than these, it is still without fault. One should remember which offerings will necessarily arise at the Great Bodhi Tree, birth, Wheel of Dharma, or complete Nirvana. Offering to these four stupas is virtuous. If one cannot, one should offer to only one stupa. It is said in the scriptures that it is not for others besides some. What is meant here is that birth and complete Nirvana are grasped, but not the Great Miracle and the Descent from the Gods. It should be known that there is a lack of text, because for those who are certain, they possess this ritual, and for other places of birth and complete Nirvana, it is uncertain. This is the abandonment of transferring from offerings. After the seventh day, when the sun has passed after being blessed, one should tell the monks, "From today onwards, the first day has passed, and today is the second day," and so on. If it becomes an abandonment of hoarding, why is it preached for the sake of eating? It is said that this is because, having examined the reason for hoarding itself, this transgression of complete enjoyment has been established. Why is abandoning complete enjoyment meaningless and without opportunity? Then, after that, one should completely enjoy the abandonment of...
