The meaning of "should be accepted" is this. The so-called "manifestly related by the meaning of reverence," therefore, it should be known that the acceptance mentioned here is the promise of reverence itself. It means that reverence is expressed in a non-possessive way. If one particularly likes it as an owner first, then for acceptance, it is as if nothing has ever been done, and there will be no acceptance. If one enters any treasure that is not regarded as one's own, what should be done? Therefore, it is said, "Touch or allow to touch." If through touching? Therefore, it is said, "Any kind," even if only touching one corner, it is like saying, "Take it, carry it away," even if the word "temporarily" is not explicitly spoken, it is indicated by pointing to the person living nearby, "that person living elsewhere," which is the so-called "person living nearby." For appraisable copper, it is said, "committed a mistake" because it has a lower value. Saying "For others, there is no downfall" means that for this appraisable copper, it is not merely a material treasure. Saying "It is the same for lead, hot water, slag, and iron" means that these are also not treasures. Saying "It is the same for novices and novice nuns" means that if novices and novice nuns touch or allow to touch treasures, there is no downfall. If it is said, "It is the same if no permissible thing is done," then if some permissible thing is done, what kind of permissible thing is impermissible? Therefore, it is said, "Let the donor be called the owner, let the person in charge promise as the owner, and blessing," these are permissible things. Therefore, here the doctrine of the three permissions is that monks, therefore, should understand that when the value of robes is obtained, it should be accepted, and after accepting, the donor should be trusted and held. Similarly, the donor should also be pleased. Blessing is also, in the doctrine asked by the Brahmin girl, if I, the Bhikkhuni, with this name, use this impermissible object to accomplish the permissible object.

It is said, "That field is mine." How should one answer? For these, the most important thing is to understand. Because the donor very clearly and particularly willingly promises as the owner, for promising as the owner, other people's thoughts, other people's cognitions, and possession itself are very clear. Whoever promises here as the owner, and does so happily, should understand that this is promising as the owner. Also, why should it be understood as something that should not be owned? Through blessing and complete protection, I protect and bless it like protecting temples and so on. My thought here is that this is not achieved through possession, nor is it achieved through my power to possess it. Like this, venerable one, please listen to me, I, a monk named so-and-so, have obtained this unsuitable thing, how does this sentence promise that it can be owned? This can be achieved here, but it is not related to the meaning of future possession. For the sentence "It does not depend on the cause of not possessing things related to the Dharma," being related to the Dharma without violating the Dharma means the Dharma robes, medicines, and other items used for one's own purpose. It is both related to the Dharma and has meaning, so it is the meaning related to the Dharma, that is, the meaning of Dharma robes and medicines, etc. The so-called "cause" refers to any substance, that is, how much substance can achieve the meaning related to the Dharma. If it does not exist, these suitable things will become famous. Not possessing the meaning of things related to the Dharma, it will not become famous for reasons other than that cause. If possession itself temporarily becomes the cause material, even if the meaning related to the Dharma does not exist, these suitable things will not arise, that is its meaning. After doing it there, these suitable things, because of falling into illegality, so doing it, and touching it and causing it to be touched, will only produce the cause of falling that should be abandoned, that is its meaning. The "sutra" mentioned here refers to Dharma robes, one should contemplate and obtain it.
