Specifically, the so-called "half-krosha path" refers to the nature of completely traversing the farthest extent of a shout, is this much not enough? Here, the consciousness that arises together with this, namely the fundamental shout, each one different from the others, this is its function. The so-called "half then combines" means that if one reaches half the distance of the shout, it will combine; reaching that extent is complete combination, this is its meaning. Starting from here, it becomes the nature of complete combination. In front, there is no contempt; from the absence of contempt, there is no offense; starting from here, this is completion. Here, the scripture says, "If one reaches half a krosha, one commits a downfall of offense; if one reaches one krosha, one commits a downfall of abandonment." The statement "to walk in the sky with other miraculous powers is an offense" means that if one walks in the sky with miraculous powers, there is no downfall; if one walks in the sky in other ways, there is an offense, this is its meaning. The word "also" in "also with an emanation" follows after "there is an offense." This also refers to walking with miraculous powers, therefore, this is its beginning for situations where there is no downfall. This is also unreasonable, because the consciousness of his body can arise correctly, striving to manifest, because the emanation has the nature of existence that arises through transmission. Here, the scripture says in the Vinaya: "Venerable, if a monk takes wool from the sky, what downfall does he commit? If he takes it with miraculous powers, there is no downfall; if he takes it in other ways, there is an offense. Venerable, if a monk takes edible food with an emanation, what downfall does he commit? He commits an offense." Hats and shoes, those with feathers, and breastplates with holes inside, as well as bells, whips, and castanets, etc., for these things, reaching that extent, there is no fault, this means that for wool of sufficient quantity for hats, etc., taking it to the quantity of hats, etc., there is no downfall, this is its meaning. Of the krosha.
