The measurement should be stated. Extremely small dust, small dust, water, iron, rabbit, sheep, cow, dust in the sunlight, lice, fleas, barley, knuckles, these later ones are relative to the previous six. Four fingers plus six fingers are one cubit. One and a half cubits plus four fingers is a person's height. Four cubits is one bow. Five hundred is one yojana, which is called the length of six barley grains arranged horizontally as one finger. Here, the scripture says that six barley grains are one finger joint. Whatever the joint of the finger is, here, in order to indicate this meaning, the joint of the joint should be understood here. Because of relying on the forest monastery with fear, nuns should not live in the monastery, so the nature of the monastery that should be clearly relied upon should be stated. Therefore, the function of the initial height of the monastery is mentioned, meaning at the end of the yojana. The body should not bear heavy loads, the body's heavy load refers to the load carried on the shoulders, and the shoulders should not be used to carry heavy loads. The chest, back, waist, and head should not bear heavy loads. For all cases of bearing heavy loads, these are prohibited. Here, it should not be considered uncommon, the body should not bear heavy loads, etc., it should not be considered that the nuns are common, meaning that the nuns should not do these things either. One should not bear more than half of the heavy load, here the scripture says that whatever heavy load one cannot bear, it should be borne by two monks. This is the abandonment of picking up wool. Entering the abandonment of washing, whatever the collection is, one must rely on that collection, from the wool entering the abandonment of rubbing, to explain separately. In the place of old Dharma garments is wool. Rubbing is for washing, the so-called place, that is, when entering the abandonment of washing, it is said to enter washing or enter boiling, here it should be said to enter washing or enter boiling or enter rubbing. Because that is complete here, it is the author of the downfall.

This is the treatise. Abandoning entering into moldy things. If one does something, what would cause the abandonment of touching gold and silver? Therefore, it is said, "Taking possession of precious jewels," here the treatise is from some requests, at the foot of a corpse or in a place where one obtains resin from the sal tree, if one takes possession of it, it will become an offense of abandonment, so it is said. If one is capable, then it is complete, which means that in a situation where one is capable, for what one is capable of possessing, capable of obtaining, capable of getting into one's hands, if it is not yet in one's hands, then the act of taking possession is completely complete. If one exceeds that limit, then it is only half, which means that in a situation where one is capable, if one takes that thing, then it is fundamental, if not, in a situation where one is capable, then obtaining it is fundamental, for the action of the taker, it means that it is not obtained. Here, the treatise is, if someone in a place where one can obtain it, takes possession of an item containing sal resin, then it means the abandonment of not obtaining it. If one follows in one way, will it become this abandonment? Therefore, it is said, "Not making one's own permission is also," one's own means that because one distinguishes the offenses of others, so for this offense of abandonment, it is like not making a field, grasping what is said, this is the teaching here. If someone gives a reply or allows taking, then grasping will not arise. Here, taking possession is in accordance with it, and being in accordance with it means using grasping to express certainty, it is not like that, it is not reasonable, because it is for the sake of what should be possessed and what should be abandoned. For permissible things, it is because of what should be possessed and what should be abandoned. Because these things that are interrupted in the middle are what should be possessed, who would become its other side? Therefore, here, there is no permission to take possession. Who should take here, and after taking, should also trust the donor, should hold, I allow, what is said is the first permission. How does one not generate taking possession here? One should allow.
