"Ba" means just that. Whatever is said as "go," without specifying, should be understood that with the meaning of this word, for words related to things, and for those names that also become the meaning of exhortation, and for any answer that is not, close to going, one should observe for that meaning. Therefore, here, like this exhorting others, from that, for allowing to follow after three numbers, that completing, this action, the six ways of exhortation, those that are said, are also in that place called "entering time," for the words of the door of Dharma talk. The so-called "time" is only to show the expansion for obtaining that door. This is just an example. Those with life seek clothes for that purpose. I say a little, those with life, you listen. Go, for that purpose, seek clothes, please give me clothes. Like this and so on, also because it has become other talk, it is the door of talk that has connection. Just like this, explicit speech, skillful combination, and under the control of food and drink, each one is divided into two, totaling six. Among them, explicit speech is, when saying "Did you come?" the answer is "For that." When saying "Did you come well?" the answer is "For that." Skillful combination is, when saying "Sit on this cushion," the answer is "For that." When saying "Wash your feet," the answer is "For that." Under the control of food and drink is, when saying "Eat tsampa," the answer is "For that." When saying "Drink a beverage," the answer is "For that." For those done by each thing, to go for that meaning, to arrange closely in any way, one should understand that it is to show "for that." Because of what, the unreasonable nature will become other? If it cannot be established, then exhort twice, meaning that if the first exhortation cannot be established, then exhort twice. Exhort three times, meaning that if exhorting twice cannot be established, then exhort three times. After that, until three times, one should sit next to it, that "that" means that if exhorting three times cannot obtain clothes, one should sit next to it.

Wherever one can gain something through this matter, one should stay there for up to three times. One may stay for four, five, or six times. After that, one should remain silently to the side, without saying anything, so it is said. Here, the scripture is related to exhortation, and it appears together with numbers such as one, etc. This should be understood as a number, not related to oneself, because it is not stated as such in the scripture. Here, one can say: one time, two times, three times, up to four, five, or six times, it should be expressed in this way. There are four teachings: complete entry, definite entry, the end of activity, and the place of activity, as it is said in the scripture. Alternatively, complete entry, definite entry, complete conduct, and the very famous merchant, as well as those who completely abide, should all be understood through these examples. Here, compared to the former, this is directed towards merchants with fewer goods. The second case refers only to merchants. If it is not accomplished, it should be proclaimed to the giver. If it has already been abandoned in this way, then when offering, one should say that it has been abandoned. In order to gather the mind of the giver, one should take the subsequent accomplishment from the promise, that is, when offering, it should be done through the promise. Saying "has been abandoned" means that it is summarized by the phrase "giving again to the patron." Another case is that for exhortation, one promises to abide. For exhortation, if the other party does not promise in the three doors (referring to body, speech, and mind) other than the three doors in place and direction, then the giver is actually promising the subsequent accomplishment, that is, gathering their mind. Here, entering is the main thing, not in order. Therefore, one should regard the previously abiding and the subsequently exhorting as guides. Because what is known through exhortation is superior for the higher place, it should be understood as knowing through exhortation. If someone asks, since this is the case, then how will this abandonment, in the presence of the previous part, achieve the subsequent accomplishment of the actual situation? Therefore, the scripture mentions "from the promise," that is, in order to grasp the mind of the giver, the subsequent accomplishment comes from the words he has promised.
