For the sons who are interconnected, the fame of the monk surrounds them, placing the Dharma garment wherever they please, and there, welcoming the dawn wherever they please, this is what was said by Mamo. All places are arranged with this ritual, up to what is called arrangement. This is the discernment of separation and abandonment. That which has become fragmented will not change without being blessed. Regarding abandonment, it is not that there is no attachment, which means that for the object to be abandoned, the blessing will not become unattached, because it has not separated from itself. In some texts, is it the case that the monk's Dharma garment has passed ten years, or has been separated for one year? There is a teaching that even if the Dharma garment has passed ten days, the monk should bless it and welcome the dawn outside the boundary, which is a concise statement. The word "bless it" in the phrase "the monk should also bless it" is seen here as an explanation. The Sangha's also, which means that blessing is not unattached. Only oneself, for the monk, at the time of enjoying the Sangha, arranging it in that way, many fully obtained, enjoying one by one, because of the meaning related to the many, it will separate from there. From there, referring to the blessing of the Sangha, the blessing taken here is the cause, not taken in all of everything. Therefore, it will also separate from the blessing of the Sangha. Others abiding, do not harm the abiding of others, regarding this, "of others" refers to those with different names who have taken full ordination or have not taken full ordination, from the place that has been blessed, whichever other place it is, blessing there, or otherwise taking full ordination itself, that is not harmed, because there is no separation. Blessing in another place, not separated for others, this should also be understood by following this. Here, the text is in some writings, a certain monk placed the Dharma garment in the place of a heretic, the monk.

If the residence of the Sangha and the residence of the heretics are in the same dangerous area, will residing there not lead to downfall? There is a teaching that says: 'Whoever dwells together with heretics.' It is like trees. For the same object, it is merely conceptualization, and it should be understood as residing here. 'These teachings and other teachings are not understood through views, not abandoned.' It means that for those who completely hold on, distinguishing through views, this called 'distinction in views,' these other teachings and these teachings are not abandoned. 'The door of commonality is not any one either.' Because there are many places, doors etc. are considered common. Therefore, it does not exclude any door, but includes all. The discourse of these two sutras is like this: If the residence of the Sangha and the residence of the heretics are in the same dangerous area, then residing in the gatehouse will not lead to downfall.' Because this saying is widely known, it is no different from this. 'From property,' it means, 'neither are father and son.' For those who closely hold on, the difference is this called 'from property, the distinction of residence,' father and son are also abandoned. 'Abandonment itself is also the same as this,' it means that for distinction itself, there is difference, and for what is not distinguished by property, it is said not to be distinguished by property. Whoever here, because of overturning the bowl or enacting laws, is abandoned, it should also be understood as the same as this. 'Even with food,' it means that for distinction itself, there is difference, and for what is not distinguished by property, it is said to be no different. 'No difference,' it means that even with food it is so. 'The same house, the same big tree, and becoming the same,' how should this ritual be applied to others? 'Even preparing to sleep,' here it refers to sitting and observing the residence, and having the limit of sexual intercourse, for those who cause downfall, this points out this. The discourse of this section starts from overturning the bowl. If a patron has a house and owns many rooms, and also has property.
