The change between me is due to the nature of self. The appearance of day and night is the nature of day and night. The first dawn and so on are also for the appearance of day and so on, taking the first as the key point like this. In terms of activities, if it has passed, saying the sun has risen refers to the Posadha and Karma, and especially abiding in these two, as well as the summer commitment and laying out hard objects, etc. For activities related to the difference in dates, if there is a passage of time, then the beginning of the sunrise is the passage between day and night, and the rising of dawn, which is called the action of time. In terms of inquiring about the meaning, here the scripture asks: Some monks, if a monk remembers at dawn that we have not done the Posadha, and then recalls it, then when they do the Posadha and recite the precepts at that time, do we say that the Sangha has done the Posadha and recited the precepts? Or do we say that the nearby monks have done the Posadha and recited the precepts? Because it is the same, understand this from the Karma. In terms of abandonment, from the perspective of consciousness, it is mainly one's own, meaning that from the perspective of things, how not to take what is not given, and the belongings of the deceased, these two are not necessary to approach, know that it is not oneself, and one should also have this cognition for the owner, and one should also correctly recognize this. Similarly, for the offense of abandonment, if one already knows, then the substance has already arisen, if one does not know, then for the consciousness that is mainly one's own, there is no offense. The meaning as it is is the substance, meaning for the meaning that is not as it is. For what is not one's own, if one has thoughts, know that it will generate wrongdoing. For what is one's own is the substance, for what is not one's own is wrongdoing, this is like consciousness, it is the meaning of doubt. Here the scripture is based on the example of leather, a monk entrusts the Dharma robe to a monk, sends it from here, and for those who have not been given it there, there will be no abandonment. For what is sent without being obtained, it is shown that the offense of abandonment will not arise, this is what will not become consciousness.

Therefore, it is abiding here. The so-called "that is separated at the time of dedication" means that for other separations, because there is no abandonment offense here, so in one's own place of dedication, even for the recognition itself, even if there is no differentiation for emptiness, it should be known that for whom it is not completely grasped. If it is said that this is abandoned from the basis of leather, then it is said that the offense of abandonment is not generated. Here the scripture is: Then how is this for the utensils of the dead, how is it established here from things, and not from recognition? It must be determined for the meaning of ordination, and that is the same meaning, there is no offense for the meaning of the thing itself. Because it is done for the meaning relative to ordination, so whatever is said to be grasped, it is also explained for this. If one also differentiates for the Dharma garment, it means that for the differentiation of not taking, it also shows that it is separated from oneself even from the Dharma garment. For this, the following itself is also a loss, meaning that where one follows oneself, here the separation of not taking, etc., is the loss itself. Even if one loses from one's own nature, the word "also" is said to follow after "the following itself is a loss". Here the treatise is: The lay devotee (Upasaka) asked, Venerable, after the monk obtained the Dharma garment, after five years, the mind is completely confused, then from what time should his ten years be counted? The lay devotee said, from what time does one find one's own mind? The Buddha said, from the time of finding one's own mind. Starting from finding one's own mind separately, here all the words of calculation also approach making those five days pass. Here it refers to this being shown. If it exists, then the same thing will also happen in other places, meaning that the following itself exists, and in other places, for its things and any form of things, it follows it. For the existing form of things, belonging to the ten-day Dharma garment, it will happen on the ten-day Dharma garment. Belonging to one month, it happens on one month. Belonging to the seven-day medicine, it happens on the seven-day medicine.
