Pao. Here, whatever fragmented words there are, are collected here. If the attendant asks: If a monk receives more than two letters and conveys messages back and forth, what kind of transgression would it be? Answer: Sanghavasesa. If a monk does not receive more than many letters and conveys messages back and forth, what kind of transgression would it be? Answer: A gross offense. These are also collected here. Therefore, with this distinction, it is collected here. With a fragmented thought that is not accompanied by being in control, that is the meaning of this phrase. Therefore, one should understand the statement of the question. Here, what is called "number of times," "time" refers to a turn. Repeatedly familiarizing oneself with that meaning through "times" is called "number of times." The completion of a turn where two times meet is called "two times." The completion of a turn where many times meet is called "many times," which is three times. Here, the third time is precisely many times. Here, even if it is both, it still remains in the state of receiving letters, which is what is said as "four times or less." Strife itself is decay itself, and should be combined with harmony itself. Here, the first moment of strife is referred to as the past. After that, in the case of strife, decay itself, which is the meaning of the breakdown of friendship, is the meaning of this phrase. Therefore, even without strife, if friendship is broken due to instigation and so on, then harmony itself is decayed. Here, the root is that if a monk reconciles and harmonizes with the last four wives immediately after they quarrel, and if he obtains a sangha, he will fall into Sanghavasesa. Here, the words "after that" and "immediately" are for the sake of obtaining a clear manifestation of the breakdown of friendship. Therefore, one should not understand that strife itself after that, and prolonged strife itself, are not affected by this decay, and therefore this should be condemned. If that which is declared as not being a wife is in control, then wherever this is encountered, if that is, then that is his control. Not a wife, refers to later.

Merely the act of quarreling itself is a transgression, but some do not stop there. The instant of quarreling, and afterwards, also severing relations, throwing three stones, performing rituals, declaring not a wife, and proclaiming, etc., these are like treating living beings. That is to say, how to give, how many living beings one wants to give, that many transgressions will arise. Afterwards, like "for those who engage in quarreling and other actions," this indicates this. Just as being obscured in the middle, for those who fade these things from their minds, transgressions will arise. Therefore, one must correctly understand these, and one must understand "through these." At that time, one must understand the sounds in order. For example, like "abandoning afterwards." For the first three, the control of transgressions lies within oneself. That is to say, the previously mentioned wife, controlling her first three stages, namely the instant of quarreling and afterwards, and severing relations. (Tibetan)," severing relations itself falls under the control of transgressions. The agent himself does not possess the combination of these three, therefore, here it refers to a gross offense. The text here states that if a monk gives with a clock, buys with possessions, or obtains through forceful seizure the first three wives, if at the instant of quarreling, or after quarreling, and without severing relations, without throwing three stones, without performing rituals, without declaring not a wife, without proclaiming, they reconcile and make peace, then one transgression will be committed. If the monk's first three wives are at the instant of quarreling and after quarreling, but without severing relations, until before proclaiming, they reconcile and make peace, then two transgressions will be committed. If the monk's previous three wives are at the instant of quarreling, and from severing relations until not throwing three stones, then as before, transgressions are committed.
