If you forgive, those who have life, who are forgiving the red-yellow monk who is being threatened and punished, named so-and-so, should not speak. Those who do not forgive should speak. In this regard, the Sangha performs moving, and fundamentally moving, and pleasing, and fundamentally pleasing, giving and taking away, causing displeasure with the teachings, and reading, and reciting, and yoga, and attention, and inner peace and abiding to be lost. If the time of the Sangha has come and you forgive, then let the Sangha permit it. The Sangha rebukes and punishes the monk Geden for constantly breaking the precepts. This is a request. Venerable Sangha, please listen. The monk Geden constantly breaks the precepts, and this is a constant transgression of the Sangha's remaining precepts. In this regard, the Sangha performs moving, and fundamentally moving, and pleasing, and fundamentally pleasing, giving and taking away, causing displeasure with the teachings, and reading, and reciting, and yoga, and attention, and inner peace and abiding to be lost. For this reason, if the Sangha rebukes and punishes the monk Geden for constantly breaking the precepts, those who have life should rebuke and punish the monk Geden for constantly breaking the precepts. Those who forgive should not speak. Those who do not forgive should speak.
