For the sake of the Sangha's affairs, going beyond the boundary, and returning from there, if willing, I request the compassionate Sangha venerable ones, for the sake of compassion, to grant me, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, forty days of permission. Repeat three times. Please listen, venerable Sangha. I, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, have vowed to reside in this place with the inner boundary for the first three months of the summer retreat. I am now residing here, and this is my summer retreat place. If I, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, for the sake of the Sangha's affairs, go beyond the boundary and return from there, requesting forty days of permission from the Sangha. If the Sangha deems it timely and permissible, please grant permission. I am now residing here, and this is my summer retreat place. For the sake of the Sangha's affairs, going beyond the boundary and returning from there, the Sangha grants me, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, forty days of permission. This is the request. Please listen, venerable Sangha. I, the Bhikshu named so-and-so, have vowed to reside in this place with the inner boundary for the first three months of the summer retreat. Because there is no speaking, it is thus acknowledged. This is the basis near the summer retreat. Venerable ones, please be aware.
