It does not change. This is a request. The procedure should be as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen. Born of Sand) has appeared naked, is mad and mentally disturbed, wandering here and there. He sometimes goes to the Uposatha place of the Sangha, and sometimes he does not. Together with the Sangha, he sometimes performs the Uposatha, and sometimes he does not. Regarding the Sangha and the affairs of the Sangha, he sometimes does not go, and sometimes he does not go. Together with the Sangha, regarding the affairs of the Sangha, he sometimes performs them, and sometimes he does not. Therefore, bhikshus, if we do not do things that say "we are not in harmony," the Sangha should grant permission for the madness of bhikshu Sikatā-jāta Born of Sand), and even if he comes, do not prevent him, and even if he goes, do not prevent him. Born of Sand) may come or go as he pleases. The Sangha should perform the Uposatha, Pravāraṇā, request, request and two matters, and request and four matters, so that the Sangha does not become discordant. Venerable ones, those who can tolerate granting permission for the madness of bhikshu Sikatā-jāta Born of Sand), let them remain silent. Those who cannot tolerate it, let them speak. The Sangha has tolerated and permitted, the Sangha has granted permission for the madness of bhikshu Sikatā-jāta Born of Sand), and because there is no speech, it is accepted as such. This is the ritual and karma for granting permission for madness. On the fifteenth Uposatha day, if some resident bhikshus are seized by the king or others and are staying within the boundary, efforts should be made to accomplish this by sending messengers and so on. If some suddenly arriving bhikshus mistakenly stay within the boundary, efforts should be made to accomplish this by searching, crouching, standing on high and looking around, and so on. If different assemblies perform many different karmas within one boundary, efforts should be made to accomplish this by mutually giving intention and purity. This is harmonious.

This is the ritual for practicing and gathering. Starting from the section on the corresponding purification ritual in the "Basis of Purification," in front of those gathered at the place of purification, examine the transgressions committed during the half-month period up to the end of the previous purification, and after knowing the transgressions, either confess, or abstain, or bless, and make amends, and abide in the position of karma, as it is said, it should be done in this way. The so-called purification means cultivating the three trainings, specifically, there are two types: corresponding purification and tranquil abiding purification. Among them, corresponding purification is in terms of higher discipline, making the place, gathering, and ritual correspond. Tranquil abiding purification is in terms of higher mind and higher wisdom, cultivating the limbs of abandonment. Furthermore, later actions are restrained by the prohibition of what should not be done, so it needs to be prevented by corresponding purification. Previous actions are purified by means of cultivation, so it needs to be purified by tranquil abiding purification. Therefore, relying on higher discipline to generate higher mind, and relying on higher mind to generate higher wisdom, thereby cultivating the three trainings, it should be known that this is corresponding purification and tranquil abiding purification. Here, corresponding purification should be taken, and there are five types of corresponding purification: the fourteenth day, the fifteenth day, the auspicious purification, the purification when harm occurs, and the reconciliation purification. Among them, the fourteenth and fifteenth day purifications, in terms of the six seasons, there are twenty-four purification days in twelve months, of which six are the fourteenth day purification, and eighteen are the fifteenth day purification. The first and last days of the three summer months and the three winter months, because the fifteenth day of the first and last days cannot be done, the four empty days of the first and last days are the fourteenth day purification. The middle of the three autumn months and the three spring months, because the fifteenth day of the middle cannot be done, the two empty days of the middle are the fourteenth day purification. The remaining eighteen are the fifteenth day purification. Calculating these is
