此地 由堪布名为某某者,于僧团中请求受近圆戒后。此名为某某者,由堪布名为某某者,于僧团中请求受近圆戒。是男子,且具丈夫之根,年满二十。此之三衣和钵皆全。无有障碍之法,已完全清净。如是告知。此名为某某者,由堪布名为某某者,于僧团中请求受近圆戒。为此,僧团若令此名为某某者,由堪布名为某某者,受近圆戒。诸位具寿中,何者容忍此名为某某者,由堪布名为某某者,受近圆戒,彼等请勿作声。何者不容忍者,请发声。此为第一羯磨。如是重复二遍、三遍。僧团容忍并允许后,僧团令此名为某某者,由堪布名为某某者,受近圆戒。如是,因无人作声,故如是持之。此乃受近圆戒之仪轨与事业。其后,应由非作羯磨之比丘,随意一人测量日影。应如是作:以四指左右之量测量,有多少指之量,即说有多少“鲁士布”(སྐྱེས་བུ་,梵文:puruṣa,पुरुष,पुरुष,男子)。一指一指地说有多少“匝瓦”(རྩ་བ་,梵文:mūla,मूल,मूल,根)。此乃测量日影。其后,应说昼夜之分:早晨、中午、下午、夜晚第一时段、第一时段之半、中间时段、中间时段之半、最后时段、最后时段之半、天未亮、天亮、太阳未出、太阳已出、太阳八分之一出、太阳四分之一出、中午未过、太阳四分之一落、太阳八分之一落、太阳未落、太阳落、星星未出、星星已出。此乃说昼夜之分。其后,应说时节。时节有五:冬季。

He is a man, possesses male faculties, and is twenty years old. He has all three robes and a begging bowl. He is completely purified of all obstructive dharmas. Thus it is announced. This one named so-and-so, by the Khenpo named so-and-so, requests ordination in the Sangha. Therefore, if the Sangha ordains this one named so-and-so, by the Khenpo named so-and-so. Those venerable ones who approve of this one named so-and-so being ordained by the Khenpo named so-and-so, let them remain silent. Those who do not approve, let them speak. This is the first karma statement. Repeat this twice and three times. After the Sangha has approved and permitted, the Sangha ordains this one named so-and-so by the Khenpo named so-and-so. Thus, because no one speaks, it is held as such. This is the procedure and action for accomplishing ordination. After that, the shadow should be measured by any bhikkhu who is not performing the karma. This should be done as follows: Measure with about four fingers' width. As many fingers as there are, that many should be called "Luskyebu" (སྐྱེས་བུ་, Sanskrit: puruṣa, पुरुष, पुरुष, man). Each finger should be called "Tsawa" (རྩ་བ་, Sanskrit: mūla, मूल, मूल, root). This is measuring the shadow.
