སླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་གསུངས་པ་ནི་འདི་ལྟར་བྱ་སྟེ། གནས་མལ་བཤམ་པ་བྱས་ནས་གཎྜཱི་བརྡུངས་ཏེ་དྲིས་པའི་ཚིག་གིས་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་ཡང་དག་པར་བསྒོ་ནས། དགེ་འདུན་ཐམས་ཅད་འདུག་ཅིང་མཐུན་པར་གྱུར་པ་ལ་སྦྱིན་བདག་དེས་ཕྱག་ འཚལ་ཏེ་རྒན་པའི་མཐའ་ལོགས་སུ་ཙོག་པུར་འདུག་ནས་ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་ཏེ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་འདུན་བཙུན་པ་རྣམས་གསན་དུ་གསོལ། བདག་དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་དད་པ་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་བཟང་ལ་དགེ་པའི་བསམ་པ་ཅན་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། སངས་རྒྱས་སམ། ཆོས་སམ། དགེ་འདུན་ནམ། ཡིད་དུ་འཐད་པའི་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་མ་ཕུལ་བའམ། ཡོངས་སུ་མ་བཏང་བ་ཅི་ཡང་མ་མཆིས་ཏེ། བདག་གིས་དེ་ལྟར་ཕུལ་ཞིང་དེ་ལྟར་ཡོངས་སུ་བཏང་བས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་བསྲབས་ཤིང་ཡོངས་སུ་བས་ཏེ། ཡོངས་སུ་མཐར་ཐུག་ནས་དགེ་འདུན་དོན་བཞེད་པ། ཕན་པ་བཞེད་པས་བདག་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་སྡོམ་པ་སྩལ་བ་བས། བདག་དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་ཡང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་འཕེལ་ནས། བདག་དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་སྩལ་པ་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པར་གསོལ་ན། ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བ་ཅན་དགེ་འདུན་བཙུན་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱིས་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བའི་སླད་དུ་བདག་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པར་སྩལ་དུ་གསོལ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ལན་གཉིས་ལན་གསུམ་དུ་བཟླས། དེ་ནི་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པ་གསོལ་བའོ། །དེའི་འོག་ཏུ་སྤྱིན་བདག་དེ་ཐོས་པའི་ཉེ་འཁོར་ནས་བཀར་ཏེ་མཐོང་བའི་ཉེ་འཁོར་དུ་བཞག་ནས་དགེ་སློང་གཅིག་གིས་གསོལ་བ་འབའ་ཞིག་གི་ལས་བྱའོ། །འདི་ལྟར་བྱ་སྟེ། འདུག་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་བརྗོད་པར་བྱའོ། །དགེ་འདུན་བཙུན་པ་རྣམས་གསན་དུ་གསོལ། དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་དེ་ནི་དད་པ་དང་ལྡན་ཞིང་བཟང་ལ་དགེ་པའི་བསམ་པ་ཅན་ཏེ། དེས་སངས་རྒྱས་སམ། ཆོས་སམ། དགེ་འདུན་ནམ། ཡིད་དུ་འཐད་པའི་དགེ་སློང་རྣམས་ལ་མ་ཕུལ་བའམ། ཡོངས་སུ་མ་བཏང་བ་ཅི་ཡང་མ་མཆིས་ཏེ། དེས་དེ་ལྟར་ཕུལ་ཞིང་ཡོངས་སུ་བཏང་བས་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་བསྲབས་ཤིང་ཡོངས་སུ་བས་ཏེ། ཡོངས་སུ་མཐར་ཐུག་ནས་དེ་ལ་དགེ་འདུན་དོན་བཞེད་པ། ཕན་པ་བཞེད་པས་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་སྩལ་བ་ལས། དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་དེ་ཡང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་འཕེལ་ཏེ། དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་སྩལ་བ་དགེ་འདུན་ལས་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པར་གསོལ་ན། གལ་ཏེ་དགེ་འདུན་གྱི་དུས་ལ་བབ་ཅིང་བཟོད་ ན་དགེ་འདུན་གྱིས་གནང་བར་མཛོད་ཅིག་དང༌། དགེ་འདུན་གྱིས་དམག་དཔོན་སེང་གེ་ལ་བསླབ་པའི་སྔོམ་པ་གཞིག་པར་མཛད་དོ། །འདི་ནི་གསོལ

It is said that to relinquish the precepts, it should be done as follows: After preparing the dwelling place, strike the gaṇḍī and truly inform the monks with words of inquiry. After all the Sangha has settled and become harmonious, the benefactor should prostrate, squat beside the seat of the elder, join their palms, and say these words: "Venerable Sangha, please listen. I, General Lion, am full of faith, good, and have a virtuous mind. I have not failed to offer or completely give to the Buddha (སངས་རྒྱས།, Sanskrit: Buddha, Romanized Sanskrit: Buddha, literal meaning: Buddha), the Dharma (ཆོས།, Sanskrit: Dharma, Romanized Sanskrit: Dharma, literal meaning: Dharma), the Sangha (དགེ་འདུན།, Sanskrit: Saṃgha, Romanized Sanskrit: Saṃgha, literal meaning: Sangha), or the monks who are pleasing. I have offered in this way and completely given in this way, so my wealth has diminished and been completely exhausted, completely reaching its end. Therefore, the Sangha, wishing for benefit and wishing for welfare, has bestowed upon me the precepts of learning. I, General Lion, have also increased in wealth. I, General Lion, having been bestowed with the precepts of learning, request to relinquish the precepts of learning. Kind-hearted venerable Sangha, for the sake of kindness, please bestow upon me the relinquishment of the precepts of learning." Repeat this two or three times. This is the request to relinquish the precepts of learning. After that, the benefactor is moved from the vicinity of hearing and placed in the vicinity of seeing, and one monk performs the task of a single request. It should be done like this: sit down and say these words: "Venerable Sangha, please listen. That General Lion is full of faith, good, and has a virtuous mind. He has not failed to offer or completely give to the Buddha (སངས་རྒྱས།, Sanskrit: Buddha, Romanized Sanskrit: Buddha, literal meaning: Buddha), the Dharma (ཆོས།, Sanskrit: Dharma, Romanized Sanskrit: Dharma, literal meaning: Dharma), the Sangha (དགེ་འདུན།, Sanskrit: Saṃgha, Romanized Sanskrit: Saṃgha, literal meaning: Sangha), or the monks who are pleasing. He has offered in this way and completely given in this way, so his wealth has diminished and been completely exhausted, completely reaching its end. Therefore, the Sangha, wishing for benefit and wishing for welfare, has bestowed upon him the precepts of learning. That General Lion has also increased in wealth. General Lion, having been bestowed with the precepts of learning, requests the Sangha to relinquish the precepts of learning. If the time of the Sangha has come and it is permissible, then may the Sangha grant it. The Sangha relinquishes the precepts of learning for General Lion. This is the request.
