O monk with evil views, how do you think that those things which the Blessed One has said are obstructive dharmas, even if practiced, will not be obstructive? Do not say that, do not say that I understand the Dharma taught by the Blessed One. Do not slander the Blessed One! Slandering the Blessed One will not lead to good results. The Blessed One would not say that. O monk with evil views, those dharmas that are obstructive are indeed obstructive, the Blessed One has said in many ways. If you practice those things, they will become obstacles. O monk with evil views, abandon this kind of sinful view! He is admonished with a request and four karmas. This is the request. The karma should be done as follows: Venerable Sangha, please listen. This monk with evil views has arisen with this kind of sinful view, saying: Those things which the Blessed One has said are obstructive dharmas, even if practiced, will not be obstructive, I understand the Dharma taught by the Blessed One. If many monks admonish him, even if they admonish him, he still stubbornly clings to that sinful view, and obsessively believes that only this is true, and the others are false.
