Does she, after thinking, end her life with her own knife? Does she give her a weapon? Does she hand her the weapon she holds? Does she cause her to die? Is it permissible to say praises of death to her? Saying to her, 'Alas, person, what do you do with this sinful, impure, evil life?' Alas, person, death is better than life.' Saying this, does she cause her to die with the desires of her heart and the various thoughts of her mind? Saying praises of death to her, if that author dies because of this, then that bhikshuni is also defeated and cannot abide. Having said these words, if the bhikshuni does such a thing, immediately after doing it, she will not be fit to be a bhikshuni, not fit to be a practitioner, not fit to be a son of Shakya, she will lose her status as a bhikshuni, her practice will be destroyed, she will lose, be destroyed, fall, be defeated, her practice will be impossible to restore. Just as if the head of a palm tree is cut off, it cannot turn green again, it cannot grow, flourish, and become wide. From now on, you should strive to guard your mind very diligently with mindfulness and vigilance regarding what should not be done, what should not be done, and what should be abandoned that should not be done. How can such an action not be done? It should be said that she did not do it. You, named so-and-so, listen. Lying is rebuked by the Blessed One in many ways, while abandoning lying is praised, respected, commended, and spoken of favorably. You, named so-and-so, from now on, even if it is a joke, you should not knowingly lie, let alone intentionally speak of the supreme human dharma. You, named so-and-so, the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, the Knower, the Seer, also said that if a bhikshuni has not realized, has not fully understood, has not obtained the supreme human dharma, the ultimate, the noble, the special attainment, knowledge, insight, and experience, but claims 'I have realized, I have seen,' if she wants to be completely purified from that downfall, then she can be asked about it later.

Even without asking me, the holy mothers said, "I know what I do not know." After saying, "I see what I have not seen," if it is said that this is falsely declared in order to obtain offerings, then it is nothing but false pride. That bhikkhuni is also defeated because of this, and should not remain." After saying these words, (the Buddha) asked, "What do you know?" (Answer:) "I know suffering, and the arising, cessation, and path of suffering." (The Buddha) then asked, "What do you see?" (Answer:) "I see the gods, nagas, yakshas, garudas, gandharvas, kinnaras, the great belly-goers, pretas, flesh-eaters, pot-bellied ghosts, the rotten ones, the body-rotten ones, the flesh-eaters in the dust."
