This is the blessing of five uncut and unsewn robes. After that, the alms bowl should be shown. It should be shown like this: One bhikkhuni places the alms bowl in her left hand, covers it with her right hand, and starting from the edge of the elders, stands in front of each bhikkhuni, and with reverence says this: Holy Mother, please listen. The venerable one named so-and-so, is this alms bowl not small? Not large? Not old? If all the bhikkhunis do not have such an alms bowl, they should each say that the alms bowl is good. If they say that, that is good. If they do not say that, they will commit a serious offense. This is showing the alms bowl. After that, the female preceptor herself should bless that alms bowl.
