One should advise in this way. When going out for food, when taking water to wash hands, it is also okay if there is time. If there is no time, then place his cushion on the seat. For those who are sitting and those who are going out, observe them separately. If they have not been properly advised, or have not properly studied, then for the sake of beauty, give them both a hint. In front of the Abbot, let them discuss it. If not, then do it yourself. Do not always speak to those newcomers. In the temple and monastery, they should be made to hold the precepts of the Vinaya, and they must be combined. For those who come suddenly, after observing them separately, tell the permanent residents about the dwelling. For those who are about to leave, observe the direction, guests, dwelling, lodging, and friends, do not abandon them, and praise them. For all those who have not arrived for a long time, finally immediately remind them if there is anything left behind. For the newcomers, laugh at their frivolity and dissatisfaction. When approaching home, everyone should know everything. One should give help by accomplishing these things, such as the stability of behavior and demeanor, accepting teachings, etc., as well as obtaining food and distributing it to the sick, etc. Those who have vowed to stay in retreat should discuss not cleaning the temple, let them clean it, and be happy for those who clean it. Everyone should give help by practicing the Dharma in accordance with those who belong to the Sangha and want to talk. For those who like not to speak, remain neutral. Let the lay people who come near prepare food. If they do not do it or do not want to, then speak to them words that are in accordance with the Dharma, saying that we are here. All those who are related to this should observe the Sangha separately. If used without meaning, then prohibit rain. In this regard, going and so on are just like that. Do not contradict various kinds of talks. Do not walk in front of the practitioner who is following. Do not sit down. If you speak, then speak and accomplish it. Do not interrupt the talk. If you speak words that are not in accordance with the Dharma, then stop it. Rejoice in the Dharma. If you obtain benefits that are in accordance with the Dharma, then accept them.

It should be done in this way. In the home, one should not be rude, not be arrogant, and not be unsettled. One should speak words in accordance with the Dharma to those of lower status and to householders. One should abide in generosity, discipline, truthfulness, and celibacy, as well as observing the fast, taking refuge, and upholding the precepts, and one must certainly integrate these with oneself. For all actions that become the gateway to downfall, one should guard them with mindfulness. One should not do what should not be done by following the precepts. To those who come, one should first speak pleasant words, praising, "Welcome." One should make one's face radiant. One should smile first. One should be without a frown. If a householder has something to say, one should speak to them in accordance with the Dharma. If those living on the edge of the village do not come, one should try to persuade them to come, so that they may be joyful. One should prepare water and cushions. Sweeping, making beds, laying out cushions, as well as preparing water, distributing food, and serving rice, should be the responsibility of the newcomers. For the affairs of servants, if they are not in agreement, if it does not cause harm to oneself or others, then it should be arranged as is convenient. If one cannot do that, one should also cut off those things, generate thoughts in accordance with the Dharma, and discuss it with them. If the servants are unhappy because of this and want to leave, one should try to retain them. If one really cannot retain them, then let them leave. One should not argue or dispute because of this. If someone harms the monastery of the Sangha, one must certainly make them accept punishment, and for this, one should abandon the capture. For those who are not trusted, do not reveal it to anyone, and one should consult with young people, close friends, village officials, those who have been kind, and loyal attendants, and have them make clear sounds and place them under control. In the residence of a Bhikshu, there should also be a Bhikshuni. This is the same for all renunciates. For those who have taken full ordination, other than doing things like making requests. Here, it should be supplemented by the Sangha. Asking about obstacles should be concealed from the Bhikshunis. For women, there is the term "Bhikshuni." It is only abiding. The transition period between a Shramanerika and a Bhikshuni is two years. In the initial stage of taking full ordination, one should give birth at the beginning of being underage. Protecting the family, the initial age for taking full ordination is twelve.
