If you know they are accomplices, do not welcome them. Close the door! If they seek, do not give. If they demand, refuse! Having been entrusted with this, if it is forgotten or if, due to words such as "This is my friend," one is enticed by words and accomplishes something, if it is lost as a result, it should be evaluated. One should rely on trust. Examining the differences unknown to others is a method. Poverty is a cause of downfall. If it is given away without being taken. In order not to be negligent, one should inquire. If something despised and impure becomes displeasing, if the mind is not captured by washing, etc., then give value. The alms bowl and Dharma robes should be taken. A mat should be spread. Hospitality should be offered by washing the feet. Water is also acceptable. Bow. Ask if their conduct is comfortable. Make them truly happy to the best of your ability. Give lodging as a circumstance. One should go to the elder of the Sangha. Let him arrange the lodging. If he is old, in order to indicate the lodging, go to his Gekö (administrator). Do not arrange lodging casually. If the edge of the Dharma robe is torn, mend it with a border and repair it. Sew it together with stitches, etc. The clothes of the dead, without covering, should be placed on trees, etc., for seven or eight days, or some say five or six days, let them dry and then use them. If you hear someone calling "I am a charnel ground person," allow them to enter temples and houses. One should not rely on using what a charnel ground person has not given up as their own. One should not use the lodging of the Sangha. Place an offering of about a fathom around the stupa. An umbrella should be carried. A cloak made of wool, made of shana, or made of cotton wool, or a leaf. It is not permissible to make it from the hair of elephants, horses, and cattle, etc. In short, an individual should not use colored or flashy items. The same goes for umbrellas. Cover the wooden stick with cloth. Tie it with rope. Four cubits long and a dopa. Cover it with twelve cubits of cloth. Attached with it. The minimum is to attach bedding. Place it on the doorstep.

Secondly, a cool pavilion should be used together. A cool pavilion should be held. The cool pavilion is made by a craftsman, or it is a palm sprout. Something colorful is not allowed. The Sangha also has others. If you get a cool pavilion of jewels and peacock feathers, offer it to the stupa. The same goes for the Hearers. Cushions, blankets, pillows, bolsters, etc. should be held. The gains of sons and wives should be accomplished by means of giving. If you deceive, sell it for the price they want. It can be offered again and again. If offered to a tree, if it is an ornament, it is placed for the purpose of decorating it during the festival. If offered to a wall, if it is a picture of a house, it is for the purpose of painting. If not, if offered to a pillar, it is for work. The same goes for the land. If offered to a stove, it is for lighting. Or as the gain of ghee. A suitable house is placed as medicine for the sick. The drying place is used as food. The drying place is used as a drink. The place of the warm room is used as the gain of the warm room or ghee. The same goes for the ghee gain of the cloister and the toilet enclosure. Or write the chapters of the Jataka tales. What is offered to the steps, the walkway, the gatehouse, and the cloister is the door. The same goes for the pond. Some say that it should be placed as the Sangha of the four directions. It can be taken for the sake of the Three Jewels. It can also be announced. When taking it. Make a wheel to be seen. In order not to be touched by the harm of heat, wind, and rain, building a four-doored building is also the same. After the festival, the wheel stops. When the utensils are accomplished, let the gains also be accomplished. Without dedicating from both, when offering to the teacher, it is the Sangha's, and the nuns are not allowed to enter. If they place different wheels in this one, it is a serious offense. When the utensils are distributed, they should be allocated. That person should be appointed. What should be sold should be sold. For the Sangha gathering. Through increase. He himself should accomplish it when gathering there. The abbot of the Sangha should estimate the price. It should be appropriate. He does not lower the price for it. And it is certain that it will not happen again.
