If not ill, or without the permission of being extremely subdued in harm, body, and mind, one should not go out. For the sake of going out, one should not abandon the dwelling without having performed the Uposatha and the Pravāraṇā. If such circumstances exist, indicate a place with good conduct and recitation, and then have them go there. Do not transgress those instructions. For the sake of those who come later, these two things can also be done. If it is good, let them enter as they please. It is the same for those with similar intentions. Others should be invited to the assembly. If permission is not obtained, perform it elsewhere. If one arrives during the performance, it is accomplished by experiencing the remaining part. If no one has left from that place, it is certain. If those who arrive suddenly are very many, it is also permissible. For the sake of time, one should follow the majority. If the numbers are equal, follow the permanent residents. It is the same here. From the basis of the Uposatha, it is the occasion for the conforming Uposatha ritual. Do not awaken from Samadhi. Do not meditate without instructions. The combination of the gross body and emptiness is reasonable. Do not relax diligence. As it is said in the Sutra.
