Yes, it is not for the sake of self-cultivation, but merely approaching out of friendliness. From such actions, it is said here that it is a transgression. This is a concluding statement. Others say that this is not reasonable, because whether thinking this way or not thinking this way, it will not lead to downfall. Here, the word "distinguishing" indicates difference. It should be known that it is not a universal distinction to think of sewing robes for oneself, thinking that the robes are different. If there is no such thought, then it is unreasonable to say that it is a transgression because of thinking. Therefore, not making distinctions here refers to sewing robes for oneself, thinking, 'Alas, I have obtained that, and this robe will become very exquisite.' Going for that purpose, but not making distinctions, not striving to make the robe special, not making the robe different, and not asking for the sake of making the robe superior. This meaning truly exists, so it is said that this transgression arises from action. This is indeed the case. If it were not so, then accepting would also lead to downfall, and begging for alms, etc., would also lead to downfall. In particular, the abandonment of soliciting is determined. Giving robes and other actions, giving by oneself is not a limb. Here, if giving by oneself were a limb, then if one were to snatch what one had not given, it would surely become a very serious offense. Therefore, giving by oneself is not a limb here. However, this is said according to the background of the story, such as abandoning the seven-day interval, and later vowing to dwell in summer. Anger refers to a slight conflict. Conflict refers to a moderate conflict. Becoming terrifying refers to a severe conflict. Or, in order, it should be known that it is the change of body, mind, and speech arising from anger. Dissatisfaction refers to engaging in causing harm. Snatching and other actions refer to snatching with the perception that it is one's own. This downfall is mentioned here. If it were not so, it would lead to defeat. Saying anger is according to the situation that arises here.

This is said in this way, but it is not a branch, it is like slandering without any basis. However, without wind and mind, taking it as one's own and separating it, this is the downfall. Or, this is called discrimination. After doing the work of the body, the verbal work to the monk you, etc., this is said. To return means to take it and come, it is a synonym for "give". If a hundred monks rob, and that monk's Dharma robe is used up, how should it be abandoned at the time of abandonment? If there is any remainder, etc., this is said. The word "have" is to express possession. The word "that" is to express "also", that is, the remnants that have been eaten by insects, etc., or used and become old, should also be returned, and if not returned, a misdeed is committed. The meaning is this: whatever remnants of the Dharma robe are left over should also be returned to that monk, and it should be abandoned here in such a way, not returned as if it were used up. When will it be abandoned? If it is let go, etc., this is said. When that Dharma robe is released from the body and separated, then it will be abandoned, this is what it means. Separation here should be done like this: when the monk who is robbing separates that Dharma robe from the monk's body and puts it aside, then the downfall of robbing occurs. The practice of abandoning is that however much of the remnants of the Dharma robe is left, only those are returned, and the downfall of abandoning is committed, not like other purifications of abandoning. Venerable one, for the time being, the name is changed by the monk, etc., and it is said to be a misdeed, this is because the names are different. Similarly, if the name of the Bhikkhuni changes, it should also be known to be the same. The abandonment of robbing ends here. Monk, this refers to hiding the Dharma robe, if it is designated to hide the Dharma robe when the Dharma robe given by the Sangha is completed, then only the downfall is committed, in order to show this, the monk who is designated to hide the Dharma robe.
