It has occurred. The meaning of these two is as follows, in order: If one seeks with utensils that have become one's own possessions, it is blameworthy. One's own is also acceptable, or another's acquisition is also acceptable. If one possesses a bowl that has become a possession, but does not have a bowl, it is blameworthy. Among other questions, there are also some monks who, despite having a bowl, beg for another bowl. Would they not be subject to transgression? The answer is as follows: If, when begging, the bowl that was neither the first nor the last is broken, there is no transgression. The meaning of that is as follows: 'Neither the first nor the last' means that this bowl has no other before it, and no other after it, being only one. This is its definition. Here, when it is said that there is no transgression, it should be understood that it refers to the absence of an offense requiring expiation, because that is the main point, and it is made with that in mind. It is not referring to an offense of accumulation, because if it is entered into intentionally, there is no doubt that it exists. Therefore, because one strives due to the absence of a bowl, it should be understood in the subsequent words that there is no excess of bowls. In the inquiry, if one begs for the sake of another, an offense of wrong-doing occurs, and the blame mentioned there is because it is for the sake of another. In the inquiry, if a certain monk seeks a great many bowls, should all of them be given to the monastic community of monks? It is not for close relatives, but one may be given, and the remainder should be distributed to friends and intimates. How is it? Should all the bowls that are found be distributed to the Sangha? It is not for close relatives, but one may be distributed. What kind should be distributed? The one that pleases me. The meaning of that is as follows: A friend is slightly intimate, and an intimate is very intimate. The mention of a friend indicates that it should be understood that these ordained ones are included, because it is said in another inquiry that the remaining bowls should be distributed to the monks. Here, the mention of monks refers to monks and nuns.

Etc., these are examples of those who are ordained. "Should it be distributed to the Sangha?" This is to abandon the bad alms bowl. "The alms bowl is pleasing" is very desirable. "Determining the abandonment of seeking an alms bowl." "Great width" means that great width itself is considered beautiful. "Great length" means that great length itself is extended. "Sewn with thread" means without joints. The word "and" means جمع. "The thread is suitable" means it is sewn well. "One with life" means speaking auspicious words, making people happy with words. "Like this" means in any case. "Wages" are rewards, a synonym for "rewards." "Like this" is a word of close reference. Or it refers to something special. "Food" refers to the five foods. "Preparation" refers to the five preparations, because it is similar to food, so it is like a minister. "Food materials" refers to rice, noodles, pastries, and goods, etc. "Mentioning giving food, etc." is said according to the circumstances, not a branch here. However, "O long-lived weaver, make this Dharma garment wide and long," etc., is combining the properties of water width and excellence. "Let it continue to be woven" means making the weaving of the Dharma garment outstanding. "What is to be said" refers to messengers and letters, etc. Some say that if weaving starts from messengers, etc., it is a fundamental downfall, because this is known from the topic. Other Vinaya holders do not think so, because this very Sutra of Questions is considered reliable. Some say that this is known from the topic, but this is not a branch here. Because according to the topic, the doubt that arises by oneself will also become a branch. Because it is not considered a branch, it should be known that starting to weave from messengers, etc., only misdeeds are good. In the Sutra of Questions, some say that this Sutra says: "For the sake of a Bhikshu, if lay people are made to weave a Dharma garment, and that Bhikshu also approaches and distinguishes, it will become a misdeed." The meaning of which is:
