Those are the ones who have been destroyed by fear. Those are not the supreme refuge, because those nearby supports such as mountains that appear desirable are actually not able to save from the lower realms. Those are not the true refuge, because those nearby supports are not able to completely abandon samsara. Thus, if those refuges are obtained, one cannot be liberated from all suffering. Those are not clearly explained. So what is refuge? What is said is what begins with "Whoever are the Buddhas," etc. The Buddha is the one who possesses a collection of qualities such as the eighteen unshared qualities of a Buddha. The Dharma is the nature of reality, therefore it is nirvana, because it is the main need. The Sangha is the noble path that abides in the continuum of the Shravakas. In order to show that taking refuge in some of those is not taking refuge in the Three Jewels, therefore it is said to all three sounds. Because those are mutually different, taking refuge in just those cases is not enough, but rather it comes from gaining faith after realization, and that also transforms from seeing the truth, therefore the Four Noble Truths are spoken of. Wisdom, that is, uncontaminated wisdom. In order to speak the names of the truths, it is said, "Suffering, the origin of suffering," etc. "Seen by wisdom" follows. As for the so-called eight limbs, a limb is a part, where do the eight limbs exist? The group is endowed with limbs, just like the afterlife with six limbs. If the path is seen by wisdom, what would it be like? The answer is: because it is the attainment of a place without fear, it is happiness. Only those are called going to nirvana, it is the attainment of nirvana. Those previously spoken of, in a way of acknowledging, make the path manifest, and those themselves are the supreme refuge, because it is the supreme refuge, relying on those, all suffering can be eliminated. The so-called "from his power of blessing" is

From the place of great miracles. The explanation of the meaning of the words such as "having understood the great difference" should be observed as before. The so-called "this world is permanent" means that the world is permanent because it does not change. The so-called "impermanent" means that it is cut off without the noble path. The so-called "it is not permanent" means that it is not the only permanent, because it is born from the place of birth that is universally calculated by the heretics, experiences the happiness and suffering that are universally calculated by them, and is the ender of samsara. The so-called "it is also not impermanent" means that it is not the only impermanent, because it causes long-term wandering in samsara. The so-called "that is permanent and impermanent", among which, those who are not destroyed by others and have no death, those are permanent. Those that exist, those are impermanent. The so-called "finite" means that it is destroyed after experiencing the happiness and suffering that are universally calculated by the heretics. The so-called "infinite" means that it is because of experiencing a lot of happiness and suffering, and because it stays for a long time. The so-called "finite and infinite" means that death that is destroyed by others is finite, and death that is not destroyed by others is infinite. The so-called "neither finite nor infinite", among which, it is not the only finite, because the time of samsara is long. It is also not infinite, because it will not be eaten by ghosts without interruption. The so-called "whatever life is, that is" and so on, here life refers to self. The so-called "I am here" and so on, I also refer to myself. The so-called "exists" means that it can stay for a while. The so-called "does not exist" means that it disappears after staying for a while. The so-called "it is also not existent" means that it is not the only existent, because it is constant. The so-called "it is also not non-existent" means that it is not the only non-existent, because other states may also exist. The so-called "this is the truth" refers to the ultimate truth. The so-called "other is ignorance"
