The arising of is the cessation of suffering. If someone asks, what is the noble truth of the path that leads to the cessation of suffering? The cessation of suffering is the cessation of suffering, because the path that leads to it is the practice of the truth of the path. The so-called "three turnings and twelve aspects," etc., each of the four noble truths has three turnings, and each turning has four aspects, so there are a total of twelve. The first turning is: This is suffering, this is arising, this is cessation, this is the path that leads to cessation, it is the noble truth. These are the four aspects. The second turning is: Suffering should be fully understood, arising should be abandoned, cessation should be realized, the path should be cultivated. This is also four aspects. The third turning is: Suffering has been understood, arising has been abandoned, cessation has been realized, the path has been cultivated. These are also four aspects, so there are a total of twelve aspects. Or, the so-called "suffering," in turning the wheel of Dharma, there are four aspects: eye, wisdom, light, and awakening. The so-called "suffering should be understood," in turning the wheel of Dharma, there is the arising of the eye, etc., which is the same as the previous four aspects. The so-called "suffering has been understood," in the third turning of the wheel of Dharma, there is the arising of the eye, etc., which is the same as the previous four aspects. Therefore, it is the three turnings of the wheel of Dharma and the twelve aspects. Because it corresponds to twelve, it is called twelve aspects, like the "seven-leaf tree." Having spoken of the three turnings of the wheel of Dharma and the twelve aspects, here are included the paths of seeing, cultivation, and no more learning, which should be understood. Because in the path of seeing, one can fully understand the nature of suffering, arising, cessation, and the path, from "this is suffering" to "this is the path," the turning of the wheel of Dharma should be known as the path of seeing. In the path of cultivation, suffering should be fully understood, arising should be abandoned, cessation should be realized, the path should be cultivated, this is the turning of the wheel of Dharma. Because what is to be abandoned by cultivation

To abandon latent tendencies, the realization of truth should also be made manifest. On the path of no more learning, suffering is known, origination is abandoned, cessation is realized, and the path is cultivated. It should be understood that this is the turning of the wheel. Because all latent tendencies are abandoned, there is no need for those who dwell there to manifest the truth. Considering that effort is the beginning of all paths, the twelve aspects of the three turnings of the wheel are mentioned in the path of seeing. Among them, "I" and so on, because gods are the chief among humans, it is said to be with the gods. Among the gods who act in the desire realm, Mara is the chief in terms of exercising power, therefore it is called with Mara. Among those assemblies, Brahma is particularly superior, therefore it is called with Brahma. In the establishment of the human world, ascetics and Brahmins are the main ones, therefore it is called with ascetics and Brahmins. "Liberation" refers to the path of application, because the path of application is the method of abandoning afflictions. "Definitely arising" refers to the path of no interval, because it is what cuts off the attainment of afflictions. "Completely liberated" refers to the path of liberation, because it is what generates separation. "Thoroughly separated" refers to the path of distinction, because it is the antidote that makes the abandonment of afflictions more distant. "Because of abandoning afflictions, it is said to abide much with a mind free from perversion," which means that only afflictions are perverse, or what is done by afflictions is perverse, therefore, with a mind free from grasping at perversion, repeatedly, that is, again and again, or continuously abiding, that is, with analytical observation. "Unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment" is the wisdom that benefits all, and understanding means having known. Because it is clearly manifest, it is without dust, and because it is without outflows, it is without defilements. "To the dharmas" refers to the noble ones.
