We, the wise and the enlightened, do not do it, therefore we first transcend. The Bhagavan is cherished by all those who are tamed, therefore, the Buddha Bhagavan is spoken of as the transcender, etc. Because he has abandoned the afflictions and their habits, and because he has fully understood all dharmas in all aspects, therefore, the abandonment and the perfection of wisdom are shown in order. The first of all to transcend is also Brahma, because through constantly focusing on the meaning of words, the mind is scattered outwards, therefore it is called the supreme mind. Abiding on land means abiding on which bank of the river. Monks bathe here means that monks, having crossed to the other shore, completely wet their bodies with water. The ferryman refers to those Shravakas who have not yet transcended, in order to allow the later monks to board the boat. Just like this, the meaning of the verses spoken there should also express the meaning here, that is, those who are transcending are those who want to transcend. The ocean is the waves of the ocean that generate samsara. Possessing a bridge means having realized the path of seeing. Abandoning the mud means abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by the path of seeing. Ferrying beings means practicing the path of cultivation in order to abandon their latent tendencies. Because he has abandoned the collection bound by the two paths, therefore he is a transcender. Those who tame the mind are the noble ones. If asked who is the lord of transcendence? The answer is: through the Buddha, etc., the self-born is shown. Abiding on land refers to the Nirvana with remainder, the Sutra says that the question of the other shore is the true word of the realm of Nirvana with remainder. Abiding means showing great compassion, without great compassion, the Bhagavan would not abide in existence even for a moment. Monks here, etc., show the happiness of abiding in the Dharma in this life. Ferryman

Therefore, since it corresponds to the part of determination, it manifests the path of seeing, etc., from the abodes (of the four directions), therefore, this indicates the stream-enterer (Srotapanna). Therefore, those monks who abide in the four stream-enterers and the four fruits are those who possess the abode of merit, the precepts, and the samadhi. The source of rain is to accomplish a special field, therefore it causes joy. That which is called "this discipline" is those who abide in manifestation. The Blessed One sees all dharmas manifestly, therefore it is taught thus. It is the nature of Pratimoksha, Samadhi, and undefiled discipline. That which is called "Samadhi" has three Samadhis, namely, with investigation and with analysis, etc. That which is called "this wisdom" is the wisdom born from hearing, the wisdom born from thinking, the wisdom born from meditation, and the undefiled wisdom. That which is called "perfectly cultivating discipline" is cultivating a very pure discipline, because a pure discipline will arise in the continuum. That which is called "will abide for a long time" is that which is able to be completely destroyed. Cultivating wisdom is called the teaching. That which is called "will be truly liberated" is that which will not be completely lost, therefore, it is taught to the monks that what is abandoned is abandoned by the wisdom of the noble ones. That which is called "Kukkutika's place" is because it was made by the sage Kukkutika. That which is called "corresponding to the lower part" is the desire realm because it possesses all non-virtuous dharmas, and those also correspond to it, therefore it is called corresponding to the lower part. Those are also desire for desire, malice, view of the aggregates, holding precepts and vows as supreme, and doubt. That which is called "spontaneous birth" is because there is no other place of birth there. It is called "striving for that" and initiating diligence. Holding the mind, it is said "holding well," initiating diligence is for abandoning non-virtuous dharmas,
