It is to be separated. The so-called "mountain top" refers to the place on the mountain top where water can be stored, which is the mountain top. The so-called "arrangement" refers to having a water outlet. The so-called "small lake" refers to a pond. The so-called "water pit" refers to a spring where water comes out. The so-called "water hole" refers to a spring in the center where water comes out. The so-called "pile of water" refers to a spring where a lot of water gushes out. The so-called "having abandoned joy" is because of being separated from the desire for joy. The so-called "abiding in equanimity" refers to using the equanimity of formations to make the mind tend towards virtue, therefore it is called equanimity. The so-called "mindfulness and awareness" refers to mainly having mindfulness and wisdom. The so-called "bodily pleasure" refers to the special excellence of pleasure through the means of body and mind, therefore it is said in this way. Therefore, in this state of attachment, the noble ones establish terminology in this way. The so-called "noble ones" refers to the Buddha and his Shravaka disciples. The so-called "extinguished in all of everything" refers to the root being extinguished. The so-called "having also abandoned happiness" etc., is like abandoning happiness by being separated from desire from the third dhyana. Because of being separated from the residue of defilement, suffering is abandoned, which is only said at the time of being separated from desire in the third dhyana, and only by being separated from the desire of the desire realm can suffering be abandoned. The so-called "mental pleasure and mental displeasure" refers to abandoning mental pleasure by being separated from the desire of the second dhyana, and abandoning mental displeasure by being separated from the desire of the desire realm. The so-called "completely pure equanimity" and "completely pure mindfulness" refers to being liberated from defilement here, and being completely perfect. Because of being separated from the afflictions of the lower level, the mind is completely pure, and because there is no defilement of one's own ground, it is completely white. The so-called "after having faith" refers to focusing on. The so-called "pervading" refers to pervading everything. The so-called "after approaching" refers to being completely perfect, or completely enjoying, or after knowing. Purusha

That which is woven with eight threads is woven with eight threads. Because it is very large, very few people can weave it. Similarly, that which is accomplished by the work of nine people, according to the previous definition, is woven with nine threads. The term "not higher" means that there is no tangible place above that, so there is no desire for a higher position. Because form exists above all, it is neither high nor low. The term "attaining immovability" means having attained a state of immovability. Regarding "tiered houses" and so on, a small house built of wood and tents is a tiered house, and a large tiered house is a pillar. The house symbolized by it is called a tiered house. A butter lamp is an illuminator. The term "unmoved" means unmoved by shaking from one direction. The term "unmoved" means not moved by stirring from all directions. Regarding "this body of mine" and so on, because it can be seen and harmed, it is tangible, and because it is coarse, it is vast, and because it is composed of the four great elements, it is caused by the elements. The term "relying on this" means that it arises by relying on one's own realm of consciousness. The term "abiding in this" means that other realms also arise by relying on this. To completely follow one's own nature is to enter. The term "other body" means other realms. Because it possesses a pleasing form, it is tangible. Because it arises solely from thought and does not depend on external factors such as semen and blood, it arises from thought. Because there are no defects or errors, it is complete. Because all the faculties are complete, the faculties are not impaired. Because there is no fault, it is virtuous. Because it is not artificial, it is in accordance with the norm. Because it is initially manifest, it is clear. Because there are no other coarse impurities, it is pure. Because there are no subtle impurities either, it is without impurity. Essence is the essence of excrement. With it this
