These are the intervals of aggregation. The term "causing nearness to affliction" means either making it tainted or causing nearness to suffering. Because the mind is near to affliction, wisdom is weakened, and because of doing that, it weakens wisdom. Because it is an obstacle to the arising of virtuous dharmas, it is a harmful side, and for that very reason, it is incompatible with nirvana, because it is an obstacle to entering the path of nirvana. The so-called "separated from desires," etc., means dwelling after closely cultivating the first dhyana. If asked what kind of distinction the first dhyana possesses, it is said, "separated from desires," etc., where the word "desire" here indicates the attachment of intention. Because it completely enters various kinds of objects, the word "desires" is used in the plural. Moreover, the word "desire" refers to the five desirable qualities; being separated from those means abandoning them and becoming separated from the appearance of desire. Because all non-virtue practiced in desire is abandoned, it becomes separated from sinful non-virtue, and it is said to exist together with investigation and analysis. The so-called "arisen from separation," from bodily separation and mental separation, here mental separation is taken, and because it arises from that separation, it is said to be arisen from separation. Joy and happiness are the happiness of the three aggregates of consciousness, because there is no nose consciousness or tongue consciousness. Alternatively, when distinguishing with this, it is separation, meaning it has been made different. If asked from what it is distinguished, it is from desires, arising from the separation of the path that is not to be traveled and is contaminated, which is called arising from separation. The so-called "closely cultivated" means after completely knowing with wisdom. The so-called "manifestly moistened" means completely filling or pervading. The so-called "completely moistened" means extremely filling or extremely pervading. The so-called "completely satisfying" means greatly rejoicing or approaching, etc. The so-called "completely pervading"

English
"Pervading" means completely spreading in all directions. "Not pervaded" means not clear. "Not to be pervaded" means that the basis of the body part that cannot be pervaded by it does not exist. "Disciple" here refers to someone who has become equal to the teacher in terms of skill in craftsmanship. "Skilled" refers to someone who has become skilled in their own work. "Khar-phor" is a large container for khar-ba, and "gzhong-bu" is in the shape of a khar-sder. "Nya-phyis" is another form of container for bath powder. "Watered" means moistened, which is a repetition of two words. "Moistened" means soaked. "Oil" is water. "Became oily" means that the moisture of the middle rain has entered. "Covered with oil" means completely occupied by oil. "Clear" is because it is pervasive in all aspects, therefore it is said that it includes both inside and outside with oil. "Not separable" means having the nature of not falling off. "Not scattered" means not scattering into a tiny state and remaining. Similarly, the meaning indicated by the example is used for connection, that is, the mind that enters into samadhi, because the mind does not scatter from samadhi and is not distracted externally, therefore it does not scatter. Because conceptualization and analysis are pacified, it means because of abandonment. Because the disease is completely pacified, what is the dharma of complete pacification of the disease? Because the yogi will think that it does not arise from the ground where it has not been absorbed, but it also arises from absorption, therefore, the nature of faith that manifests such extreme trust is called complete pacification of the disease. Because the mind is focused on one object, it means that because it enters into a very focused object, away from conceptualization and analysis, the mind enters into a very focused object. "Born from samadhi" means that here it is born from the samadhi that is mainly the second dhyana, because relying on the samadhi that is mainly the second dhyana, attachment arises from the first dhyana.
