If asked, where do greed and malice arise from? The answer is: from the world, that is, from the objects of the five aggregates of clinging. Attachment to the objects of others is greed; and the prior arising of displeasure for things not yet obtained is unhappiness. Greed and unhappiness are greed and unhappiness. If these exist, they are sins because they are censured by the noble ones; they are unwholesome because they desire what they do not possess. To prevent these sinful and unwholesome dharmas, to prevent them from arising, one must strive and practice, or control improper attention, etc. To prevent these, one must strive. "Harmless happiness" refers to experiencing the happiness of one's own mind being completely satisfied. Going to the place one wants to go is "going," which means moving towards the goal. Returning is turning back. "Dwelling in mindfulness" means that with wisdom as the guide, one does not engage in any inappropriate behavior regarding the reasons for going and returning. Looking towards the goal is "looking"; looking askance is "looking around." Curling up means gathering limbs such as arms. Stretching out means the meaning is very clear. A sewn garment is the best garment. A Dharma garment is the remaining garment. "Going" and so on refer to showing the four postures. Nonsense arising from sleep is nonsense arising from sleep. Being afflicted by bodily nonsense means separately eliminating and completely abandoning that nonsense by falling asleep slightly, and that is dwelling in mindfulness. Mindfulness is wisdom. "Happiness without lack" and so on refer to the mind being distracted by various objects, which is "lack"; not lacking is "without lack," which means focusing on one object, which is a synonym, and refers to separately experiencing that happiness. "Seclusion" means that both body and mind possess seclusion. Because one sleeps here, it is a "bed." Because one sits here,

This is the establishment. The monastery is far away from the village. Sitting in the lotus position is becoming sitting in the lotus position. The so-called "upright body" is the upright body, starting from the side of the ribs, making the abdomen full. The so-called "present abiding" is becoming present-oriented, that is, present abiding mindfulness. Because it is widely circulated in the world that yogis meditate by looking at the tip of their nose with their eyes, so looking at the tip of the nose, mindfulness also dwells on the meaning of practice, therefore, this shows the reason for not inverting the difference in body state, which is a branch of samadhi. Regarding greed, etc., greed is characterized by desiring the realm of others. The so-called "world" is the nature of the five aggregates. Abandonment is to make it stiff, here it is expressed by the word abandonment. The so-called "freedom from greed" is because it is a mind free from greed in a present way, so it is said. It shows that it is done a lot in order to make the constant mind tend to this. The so-called "completely enjoying the mind of greed" is to become very close in order to abandon greed. Harmful mind is the nature of extreme hatred towards sentient beings, lethargy is that the body and mind are not suitable, and become ignorant. Sleep is the present collection of the mind, these two are established as one obstacle because they are mutually compliant. Agitation is that the mind is not calm, and regret is that the mind becomes extremely sad, these two are also established as one obstacle because they are only mutually compliant. Or because it is the same side of discord, and is the same support, and is doing the same thing, so it is an obstacle. Lethargy and sleep, etc., are the support of the five dharmas on the side of the thought of discordant manifestation, namely laziness, joylessness, yawning, disbelief in food, and discouragement.

It is also like that. Both can generate discouragement, which is the same function. Distraction and regret are also the basis of the four dharmas, namely the conceptualization of relatives, the conceptualization of regions, and the conceptualization of immortality, as well as previous laughter, joy, play, enjoyment, and recollection. Both of these are very likely to lead to the arising of non-tranquility, so they are also the opposite of tranquility and insight, with the same function. So-called hope and hopelessness, etc., for example, "Alas, I should understand this meaning," first hope will arise for these things, and because the meaning is not understood as it is, doubt will arise, such as "Is the meaning like this? Or is it not like this?" That which is free from hope and doubt, and completely abandoned, is hopelessness and doubtlessness. Therefore, for good dharmas such as faith, because the definite meaning has been truly understood. The so-called "how how" is just a different name for doubt. That which has "how how" is that which has "how how." That which does not have "how how" is that which does not have "how how." Purifying the mind is also for the sake of completely eliminating doubt here. Because it obscures the noble path and its practices, such as virtuous roots, it is an obscuration, and these obscurations will truly bind. The so-called "debt" refers to obtaining wealth and other things in the manner of borrowing. The so-called "end of work" refers to the end of work for rice and other things, or being skilled in the use of merchants' terms. The so-called "if wealthy" means if completely wealthy. The so-called "only one's own property," one's own property refers to treasure, and women refer to wives. The word "only" indicates a slight approximation. The so-called "having" means obtaining. Happiness is the collection of the five consciousnesses. That which makes the mind happy is consciousness. Because disease is completely produced, it is one who has disease. Disease is suffering.
