It is time. Thus, regarding the summer cloth, the time when the dwellers of the summer retreat make a commitment, one should search for it from the time when one month has not yet arrived, and after selection, hold it for half a month. After one month, the practice of approaching the summer retreat will occur, the so-called "na o" refers to the fact that for those who commit to the earlier summer retreat, it is the fifteenth of the first summer month (ཉ་ནའོ།). For those who commit to the later summer retreat, it is the fifteenth of the middle summer month (ཉ་ནའོ།). Holding it for half a month after selection means that for those who have committed to the earlier summer retreat, it is before the first day of the last autumn month (ཐ་ཆུང). For those who have committed to the later summer retreat, it is before the first day of the first winter month (ར་བ). Those who commit to dwelling in the earlier summer retreat, if they hold it for too long, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense, meaning that if they hold it until the first day of the last autumn month, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Similarly, those who commit to dwelling in the later summer retreat, should know that if they hold it until the first day of the first winter month, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Those who commit to dwelling in the later summer retreat, if they search for it too early, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense, meaning that if they search for it after the fifteenth of the middle summer month. Similarly, those who commit to dwelling in the earlier summer retreat, should know that if they search for it after the fifteenth of the first summer month, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense. Thus, when a Bhikshu searches too early, and holds it for too long, they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense in all cases, meaning that if they search early, they will commit a Dukkhata offense in the process of searching, and they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense when they obtain it; if they hold it past the deadline, they will commit a Dukkhata offense in the process of trying to hold it, and they will commit a Nissaggiya Pacittiya offense when they hold it past the deadline, so it is said. The Nissaggiya Pacittiya regarding the summer cloth, that is, the explanation of the twenty-eighth clause, is completed. Faith means trusting in virtues. Attachment means loving-kindness. Faith means desiring virtues. The so-called unlawful giving means that it should not be given, because that thing has already been given to another. The so-called unlawful receiving

That which is called "unacceptable" is because it has another owner. That which is called "unenjoyable" is because it is unusable, because those who use it know that it belongs to another and cannot use it. That which is called "division of the Sangha" is because of accepting another path. That which is called "turning twice" is because of accepting another teacher. That which is called "being in one side and another side" is because disputes lead to the need for action. This is to explain the reason. Monks, therefore, the former is giving, and the latter is not. It is said that when the former is given, it is giving, and at that time the giver is the owner, but in the latter, he is not the owner, because at that time the receiver is the owner. To dispel the doubt that the giver is still the owner, the king owns four lands, the master owns the residence, the monk owns the bowl, and owns the Dharma robe. The king temporarily owns four lands, and the master of the monastery owns the residence, such as the residence, the bed, and the low couch. The monk living in the monastery owns the bowl and Dharma robe, etc., in the monastery. The giver and the donor cannot openly collect the items to be given by themselves, nor can they give them to others, which means that the giver and the donor cannot openly collect the items previously offered to the receiver, such as for cleaning, etc., in order to make the merit last longer. It cannot be given to others, because at that time the owner is someone else. For the time being, in the Vinaya, they do not establish the basis of learning for the Shravakas, because the gains of the Sangha do not depend on individual ownership. That which is called "homogeneous" refers to birth. That which is called "one" refers to taking one out of one side. It is thought that it is the gain of clothes, because it is the main thing, so its action becomes the main thing. Then, how would that become a downfall? For one, two, and very many people
