A detailed explanation of the words of 'Vinaya-vibhanga', the god of Vinaya. A detailed explanation of the words of 'Vinaya-vibhanga'. The god of Vinaya. In Tibetan: A detailed explanation of the words of 'Vinaya-vibhanga'. Volume 1. Homage to the Three Jewels! Homage to the Thubpa (Sage), who is free from all worldly continuums! In order to explain in detail, with the wisdom that the faithful can distinguish, the praise of the object gives rise to confusion of mind due to deterioration. May the peace be attained by the method of correct detailed explanation. In order to make the disciples respectful and determined to listen to the Vinaya, the merits of the Vinaya are stated in order to generate respect, that is, praising the Vinaya at the beginning of 'Vibhanga'. 'The Vinaya is born into the royal family of the king, the one who subdues the disciples, the one who subdues the faults very well, homage to the Buddha, the lord of the Vinaya, may a little praise of the Vinaya be spoken.' And so on, the verses are completed. Therefore, the merits of the Vinaya should be spoken. Understanding this, respect for the Vinaya is necessary. And that respect is also generated by this praise, so the method and the way it arises from the method are related. If one enters the Vinaya with respect, then the discipline is completely purified, and by practicing the Noble Path, Nirvana is attained, which is the necessity of necessity. Among them, Vinaya refers to those who abide in their own Dharma. The king refers to the rulers of the human world. They are both subduers and kings, so they are subduing kings. Their king refers to the lord, that is, the lord of the subduing kings, the Chakravartin who is respected by many ministers and so on. Their race refers to the unbroken lineage, that is, the race of the lords of the subduing kings, the lineage of the Shakya clan. Born there means born, descending for the sake of taming, and born into the clan of the lords of the subduing kings. Connect 'homage to the one born into the clan of the lords of the subduing kings'. What is that? Connect with 'Buddha' which appears below. How is that Buddha? In order to show the name that matches the meaning, it was said, 'The one who subdues the disciples, the one who subdues the faults very well'. That is, by what does one make the disciples to all things

He who leads the supreme being to Nirvana, and who has attained it, is called the Subduer of Disciples. He who has utterly destroyed the stains of universal conduct and the stains of maturation in his mind, and the faults that cause defects, such as desire, and who has purified his own mind along with its imprints, and has uprooted them, is called the Thoroughly Subdued of Faults. Homage to such a one! This is how it should be connected, not to everything. The very term 'Thoroughly Subdued of Faults' indicates the uncommon abandonment of afflictions along with their imprints, and because of being free from the sleep of ignorance, the Buddha himself shows the perfection of benefit for oneself. The very term 'Subduer of Disciples' shows the perfection of benefit for others, because he has certainly understood all things. Thus, if one is not omniscient, one cannot accomplish all the meanings of subduing by oneself as they are, because one has not understood all the meanings to be connected. Thus, who is it that possesses the perfection of benefit for oneself and the perfection of benefit for others? Therefore, the term 'Buddha' is spoken, because he has certainly understood all meanings, or because the Bhagavan is called Buddha because he is free from all the sleep of afflictions along with their imprints, and one should pay homage to him. What should one say after paying homage? Below, it will be said that one should say a slight praise of taming. Then, since one should praise taming by oneself, why should one pay homage to the Buddha Bhagavan and then praise taming? Therefore, the term 'Lord of Taming' is spoken. Thus, the Buddha Bhagavan is the actual lord of this taming, because he is the initiator. Therefore, one should pay homage to him and then praise taming. This shows the teacher, and thus generates respect in the disciples who follow the taming with faith. Thus, tame
