It became a stone. The so-called "taking" means taking from elsewhere. The so-called "giving" means giving from here. To understand the usage of other places, it is through the terms of other places. The so-called "previous debt" is what was borrowed before. The so-called "northerner" is someone who came from the north. The so-called "offering items" are items such as rice and noodles. The explanation of the words of the twentieth chapter on abandoning trade is complete. The reason for saying "this only happened temporarily" is to accomplish the remaining alms bowl. The so-called "not accepting the basis of training" is because in reality, the remaining alms bowl is not placed nearby. If a monk obtains an alms bowl on a certain day, etc., the first case is to show that he holds one remaining alms bowl. If a monk obtains an alms bowl on a certain day, etc., the second case is to show that he holds two remaining alms bowls. If a monk obtains many alms bowls on a certain day, etc., the third case is to show that he holds many remaining alms bowls. If a monk obtains many alms bowls on a certain day, and then obtains many other alms bowls on the second day, etc., the fourth case is to show that the latter is also many. The difference between these four cases is like this. The so-called "small alms bowls, etc., have no downfall" is because small alms bowls, etc., are not allowed, so they cannot be blessed. If one holds these, one will commit a misdeed, but there is no fundamental downfall, so it is said that there is no downfall. For ordination, holding an alms bowl does not mean possession, so there is no misdeed, therefore it is said that everything has no downfall. The abandonment of holding an alms bowl, the explanation of the words of the twenty-first chapter is complete. The so-called "just slightly subsided" is just saying some uncertain words casually because of doubt. The so-called "son of a reed" is the son of a reed. The so-called "without value" means without price. If someone
