From there, after dying, one is mostly born among animals, hell beings, and pretas; after dying from animals, one is rarely born among the gods, which combined are the three Sutra divisions. Again, after dying from pretas, one is mostly born among pretas, hell beings, and animals; after dying from pretas, one is rarely born among humans, which combined are the three Sutra divisions. Again, after dying from pretas, one is mostly born among pretas, beings, hells, and animals; after dying from pretas, one is rarely born among the gods, which combined are the three Sutra divisions. Again, after dying from the gods, one is mostly born among hell beings, animals, and pretas; after dying from the gods, one is rarely born among the gods, which combined are the three Sutra divisions. Again, after dying from humans, one is mostly born among hell beings, animals, and pretas; after dying from humans, one is rarely born among humans, which combined are the three Sutra divisions. If one examines them from one aspect, there are twenty-four Sutra divisions. The term "abiding" means residing. The term "dust" means earth dust. The term "peak" means boundary. The term "human" is because mind and thought are predominant. Worldly people say that because he is the son of the lord of beings, he is also called the son of the lord of beings. The term "animal" means to bow and walk. The term "preta" means to be afflicted by hunger. The term "combined like a wheel" means that "like a wheel" refers to beings revolving like a wheel among hell beings, animals, pretas, gods, and humans. The term "combined" means to combine concisely like the previous words, therefore, for which collection of sutras the words are concisely and repeatedly revolving like a wheel, that is called the sutra of combined like a wheel. The term "bearing" means bearing a burden. The term "not interrupted" means not abandoned.

That which is called the manner of a water bucket wheel is like the water bucket wheel of ten waters, which is a distinction of the wheel, some of whose buckets emerge and some sink, just as sentient beings who are falsely born revolve in the cycle of the five destinies. "Having arisen in mind" means being weary. To say verses, and so on. "Why not abide" means why is there the suffering of death and birth, therefore it is not abiding. "The gods" means those who indulge in desire. "Unpleasant" means negation. "Short life" means short lifespan. "Where is there no peace in existence" means in the existence of the form and formless realms, there is no peace because of impermanence. "Nirvana is supreme" means because of its abundance, because of its permanence, and because of its virtue. This is what is shown: because gods and humans all have suffering, therefore nirvana is the best because it is free from all suffering, because it is peaceful, and because it is the best of all dharmas, thus the Sugata said it is the best, and if it is attained, then all of them will be pacified. That is the concluding word. "Composition" means a brief or extensive exposition of the Dharma. "Latent" means afflictions such as attachment. "Realm" means the lineage of the Hearers and so on, or taming by teaching gentle and other dharmas. "Nature" means the sharpness of the faculties such as faith and so on. "Black bowl" means the vessel of a hermit. "Well spoken" means well taught. "Establishing the basis of training" means that one who wishes to ordain, if he is not fifteen years old, should not be ordained, this is establishing the basis of training. "Made lenient" means relaxed, because one who is seven years old and can drive away crows is allowed to ordain. "Speaking of hermits" means that at all times, the hermits are the faces of the Buddhas who have perfectly completed enlightenment, the solitary Buddhas, and the Hearers. Thus, that place is the Buddhas and

I am not devoid of Buddhas, Shravakas, and Rishis. When the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have not appeared, then the Pratyekabuddhas reside. When the Pratyekabuddhas have not appeared, then the Rishis endowed with the five supernormal knowledges reside there. When the Buddha appears, the Bhagavat resides there with the Sangha of Shravakas, so it is said. Or, the true Rishi, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, first turned the wheel of Dharma there, hence it is called the speaker of Rishis. Wherever the great Rishi turned the wheel of Dharma, that place is the speaker of Rishis. Thus it is also said: Kashi Pura, the beautiful Deer Park, remember the abode of the Buddhas of the past. There, the Buddhas first turned the supreme wheel of Dharma of peace. So it is said. What is meant by Deer Park? It is because the Bodhisattva was born among the deer and subdued King Brahma-gift. Therefore, the king, in order to allow the deer to live freely, completely gave the land full of grass, leaves, and trees to the deer. These contents will also appear later in this text. Prediction means that one will become a Buddha. Tenth fascicle. From here onwards, it will be explained that those who obstruct the arising of vows, such as nuns who have been expelled. For them, it seems that there is no nature of arising vows. Such ordained ones, as well as novices and those with the characteristics of full ordination, should be expelled. It should be connected in this way. Among them, a nun who has been expelled should not be ordained, because they do not have the nature of arising vows. In order to show the ultimate of expelling such ordained ones, the Buddha Bhagavat said while traveling in places such as Kashi. Smiling means a slight smile on the face. Radiance means radiating light. Also, teeth means those who kill and live. Black line means drawing black lines such as death. Subduing means gathering and subduing.
