If the upasaka vow has been given, how should one be ordained? Therefore, it is said in the sutra that after that, it should be entrusted to the bhikshu who requests it for him. The bhikshu who wishes to be ordained should be entrusted to the bhikshu who requests it for the sangha, and guided with the words, "Please request it for the sangha." What is the use of requesting here? Therefore, it is said in the sutra that the requesting bhikshu should ask, "Have you been asked about the obstructing dharmas?" He should ask the bhikshu who has already taken the upasaka vow. The so-called "serious offense" means having committed an offense, and is synonymous with having committed a fallen offense. After that, the requesting bhikshu should request, that is, request after the obstructing dharmas are purified. The so-called "laying out the dwelling" means laying out the cushions in order. The so-called "striking the gandhi" is for the purpose of gathering the sangha. The so-called "with the words of questioning" means that when the gandhi is struck, others ask, "Why is the gandhi struck?" Answering this question is the word of questioning. The so-called "truly urging the bhikshus" means advising in order to gather the bhikshus. The so-called "abiding" means being close. The so-called "becoming harmonious" means that the actions become harmonious. The so-called "abiding in their respective dwellings" means abiding because they abide in their respective dwellings. The word "either way is fine" is mentioned to indicate two ways, one can request in this way, or one can request in that way. It is said in the sutra: When all the sangha is gathered in one place, one can request; or when the bhikshus who have become the sangha are living in their respective dwellings, one can go to their respective dwellings and request in front of them. The so-called "the requester should say these words" means that the requesting bhikshu should say this mantra, not the one who wants to be ordained. The so-called "householder" means one who has not abandoned the household, and for him, there is a home.

It is for that reason. If it is just a name, is it a householder? Therefore, it is said to be called "one with white clothes," which means wearing white clothes. Alternatively, the term "householder" is a term of teaching, while "one with white clothes" is a term of explanation. In order to indicate what kind of ritual should be performed by those before whom one should make a request, it is said that all of them should say, "If it is completely pure." This means that all the nuns who have become the Sangha, if those who wish to be ordained, if those obstacles are completely purified, then at that time they should be ordained. After that, one should request the Khenpo, which means that after the request, the one who wishes to be ordained should request the Khenpo. Saying "one should say this" is to have the disciple repeat. Saying "I am called so-and-so" is to personally indicate oneself. Saying "Khenpo" three times is because at that time one has become the Khenpo of one's own commitment. Becoming a Khenpo means that one becomes a Khenpo when one commits to requesting a Khenpo, but it does not mean that one does not become a Khenpo until one becomes a novice or until one is fully ordained. After that, one should entrust to which monk who will shave his hair and beard, which means that if the appointed barber shaves the hair and beard, then it is shown that there is no fault, but if possible, the Khenpo himself should shave it. Saying "the topknot should be left" is because it is necessary to fully understand by asking whether the one who wishes to be ordained is sure to be ordained. When should his topknot be shaved? Therefore, one should ask, "Should the topknot be shaved?" and if he says, "Shave it," then it should be shaved. After that, let him take a bath, which means that the one who wishes to be ordained, after shaving his hair and beard, should take a bath with water suitable for the season. After that, the Khenpo should give the three robes, which means that after taking a bath, the Khen
