So, what is called "cessation" is because it ceases in an instant. What is called "near peace" is because it becomes thin. What is called "abandonment" is because the continuum is cut off. What is called "ability" is because it does not change again. What is called "tasting" is because it generates the happiness of those with afflictions. What is called "fault" is because of impermanence. Because it is said that whatever is impermanent is a fault. What is called "emergence" is because it has completely transcended the desire for craving. What is called "impermanence" is because it is only momentary. What is called "exhaustion" is because the continuum is destroyed. What is called "destruction" is because it is destroyed by its very nature. What is called "freedom from desire" is because it is only a complete harm. What is called "cessation" is because it establishes the antidote, the unpolluted. What is called "complete soaking" is because it obtains nirvana without the remainder of the aggregates. What is called "not taking anything from the world" is because it does not take anything from samsara as essence. Some say that it is because craving is not manifested. What is called "if you do not take" is because it prevents the arising of craving. What is called "will not be completely burned" is because there is no arising of afflictions when the noble path arises. The meaning is that complete burning does not arise in the continuum. What is called "only oneself" is oneself. What is called "complete nirvana" is to obtain nirvana with the remainder of the aggregates. Having obtained that, my birth is exhausted. The pure conduct has been practiced. What had to be done has been done. It is understood that nothing else is known from this existence. What is called "the feeling of the edge of the body" is based on the five physical senses, and the edge of the body is the five senses at the very edge of the body. What is called "the feeling of touch" is a synonym for the feeling based on the first five. Likewise, if the feeling of the venerable Saga is a pleasant feeling, then desire is latent in it; if the feeling is a painful feeling, then anger is latent in it; if the feeling is neither painful nor pleasant

It is also said that whatever feeling is not (referring to the feelings of pleasure, pain, and equanimity) is called ignorance latent. For such latency, the feeling of its own nature does not arise, but only because of bearing the burden of the body, feelings arise in the continuum. Therefore, as long as there is a body, those feelings will arise; if the body ceases, those feelings will also cease. Therefore, it is said in the sutras that feelings also arise for arhats because of external objects. The so-called "knowing the arising and ceasing of feelings as they are" shows that one acts with mindfulness. By acting with mindfulness, afflictions do not arise. The so-called "feeling at the end of life" refers to equanimity that is in accordance with the mind. That is, as long as life exists, there will be equanimity in accordance with the mind, which arises from the cause of not having equanimity. Therefore, it is said in the sutras that the mind of a monk is free from desire and liberated from these three feelings, and apart from that, there is only equanimity that is completely pure and completely liberated. Therefore, if his life exists, equanimity will arise universally; if life is exhausted, that is death. This is also a synonym for death. If equanimity is in accordance with life and mind, it must be in accordance with the three. When dying from the formless realm, life, mind, and equanimity will cease. This is what is said in the sutras. The so-called "destruction of the body" refers to the death of the body. The so-called "completely touching below" means that because the karma of being born again has not been accumulated, there is no connection. This refers to not having life in the next life either. The so-called "in this place" refers to this life. The so-called "all his feelings" refers to the feelings of pleasure, pain, equanimity, the feelings around the body, and the feelings at the end of life. The so-called "completely cease" means that because of accumulating everything of the two places and life, one attains nirvana without remainder. The so-called "completely able" means that those two places will not arise again. The so-called "completely exhausted" means that there is no other place besides those two places.
