That which is "not made by the agent, such as Brahma," means that it was not made by the agent himself, such as Brahma. That which is called "made but not made" means that it was not made by the lord of beings, etc., who was made by Brahma. That which is called "not transformed" means that it was not taken by Brahma, etc., because they believe in no cause. That which is called "transformed but not made" means that it was not taken by the lord of beings, etc., who was transformed by Brahma, etc., because they believe in no cause. That which is called "not to be harmed" means that it cannot be struck. If asked, how is it understood? The answer is: Therefore, it is declared as "constantly abiding." In order to show that the essence abides as one, it is said that "not to be harmed" is a concluding word. That which is called "abiding like a pillar" means that it does not change like the form of a pillar. That which is called "life is alive" means that the inner person is alive in the nature of life. That which is called "in order to turn into merit" means that it is in order to turn into merit through the way of benefiting. That which is called "in order to turn into sin" means that it is in order to turn into sin through the way of harmlessness. That which is called "in order to turn into merit and sin" means that it is in order to turn into both through the way of benefiting and harming. That which is called "does not move" means that it does not move. That which is called "does not transform" means that it does not become other. That which is called "does not harm each other" means that they do not harm each other. If someone doubts: Then, the transformation caused by striking, etc., is obvious, therefore, it is said "any person," etc. That which is called "moving" refers to people and sentient beings, etc. That which is called "abiding" refers to trees and plants, etc., which are non-sentient. If asked: How is it that when a person cuts off the head of another person, it does not cause any harm to the moving or abiding in the world? The answer is: Therefore, it is said, "For the seven bodies, etc., the sword passes through without interruption," etc. That which is called "without interruption" means without obstruction. Because for the seven bodies, the constant ones, etc., the sword that cuts off the head passes through without interruption, and because the creatures abiding in it cannot be harmed, it is because the time is fixed, therefore, there is no harm at all.

Edo. Thus, if there is no harm, in order to show that there is no harm to those seven forms of body, it is said, "Does one kill?" and so on. "Killing" means with one's own hand. "Causing to kill" means with another's hand. "Urging" refers to urging to beat, etc. "Causing to urge" means through another. "Remembering" means not forgetting to do good or evil oneself. "Causing to remember" means through another. "Discerning" means speaking oneself. "Causing to discern" means through another. Thus, these are all views of holding to extremes, encompassed by the view of permanence, and are to be abandoned by seeing suffering. The cause of this arising is that the Vaibhashika scriptures say that the heretics consider the cause of the great elements, and the cause of pleasure and pain, to be dependent on, dependent on conditions, dependent on the agent, and unable to determine whether it is other or non-other, and they say that sentient beings with consciousness have this way of viewing. The main birthplaces and Lanpa forty thousand refer to the main places. Just as our main birthplaces are the four types of egg-born, etc., in which beings are born, so the heretics also consider the main birthplaces to be the first and peacocks, cranes, etc., born from birthplaces, forty thousand, believing that each being must be born in them. The so-called sixty-six thousand great discriminations refer to sixty-six thousand main ways of viewing, believing that each being must be born in them. The way of viewing is called discrimination because it is wrong discrimination. The so-called five actions refer to the five actions that obtain those main birthplaces. Killing Brahmins, killing cows, stealing gold, going to the residence of the guru's wife, and drinking alcohol are the five great sins. In addition, their five actions are lifting, placing, stretching, and contracting.
