It is not dependence. This, called "the demonstrator," is a proximate designation. This, called "the support," is not a support because it accomplishes the complete understanding of what should be done and what should not be done. It should not be given in any way, meaning it should not be given at all. "Accompanied by a Sthavira" means that the Sthavira of the Sangha recites the Pratimoksha Sutra. "Accompanied by the Pratimoksha" means that a novice Bhikshu recites the Pratimoksha Sutra. Therefore, the meaning here is: one should go to the place where the Sthavira recites the Pratimoksha Sutra. One should not go to the place where the novice Bhikshu recites the Pratimoksha Sutra. If there is no Sthavira reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra, then one should also go to the place where the Pratimoksha Sutra is recited. Some say that "accompanied by a Sthavira and accompanied by the Pratimoksha" means that the Sthavira of the Sangha both exists and recites the Pratimoksha Sutra. Therefore, in that place, if the Sthavira both exists and recites the Pratimoksha Sutra, one should go, but if the two are separate, one should not go. "Endowed with morality" and so on, indicate being endowed with good conduct. If one enters from other than that, it means if disciples and others enter from other than the instructions of the Khenpo and others. "Requesting healing" is because of illness. "Suffering" is because disease is the cause of suffering, it is a synonym for "having suffering." "Serious illness" means having a very serious illness, it is a synonym for "being bedridden." "One should accept his complete purification" means that with both perfect morality and view, one is fit to experience the Uposatha, and only those who are perfect in morality and view and abide within the boundary are fit to experience the Karma, not others. Therefore, it is also said below that the walking teacher said, "In order to make that Bhikshu himself completely pure, he offered complete purification" and so on. "Having abandoned" means having placed. "The obstructing Dharmas" etc.
