The Sutra of the Example of Youth, it is said, is that these four great kings should not despise youth, nor should they suppress youth. What are the four? A young man of great kingly lineage should not be despised, nor should he be suppressed; a young crawling creature of a great king should not be despised, nor should he be suppressed; a great king's Small flame should not be despised, nor should it be suppressed; a young bhikshu of a great king should not be despised, nor should he be suppressed. What is the reason for this? Because the young bhikshu of a great king, even if he is young, has great divine power and great power. Like this, it is a sutra that takes the example from youth. This sutra, in this text, will appear below, starting from the basis of the division of the Sangha. "Subdued" means having been subdued, that is, having generated faith in the Three Jewels. "Between the boundaries" means the interval between the boundaries. "Having an army" means together with an army. "Bird horse" means a messenger, that is, a guard. "Abandoning" means making a small effort. "Unthinking" means without separate observation. "Hair standing on end" means hair standing up and hair rising up. "Making a clamor" means making the sound of smoke. "At will" means without shame. "Capturing alive" means capturing together with life. "Great road" means a chariot road. "Street" means a narrow road or the center of a market. "Subsequently announcing" means that for those who do what should not be done, they should be made aware that they will be punished in this way. "Slaughter" means a place of slaughter, such as a cemetery. "Decline" means without splendor. "Prosperity" means complete and perfect. Why is it said that prosperity is a universally wearying place? Because it is shared with kings and thieves, etc., it will be harmed, and because it is unstable, it is universally wearying, and because it is driven by one's own karma, it will
