Even if one does not give and receive like the unpleasant sound of the north, there is no fault. The twenty-seventh downfall is complete. In summary: water with living beings, naked people, walking and dwelling like an army, preparing for battle, horses and beatings, eating and concealing. The teacher was in the country of Kausambi. At that time, among the twelve groups of nuns, two named Tisha and Nandi Tisha used and drank water with living beings. The nun friends said, "Why do you use and drink water with living beings?" They replied, "Why don't these beings go to the eastern ocean and the four oceans in all directions?" Therefore, the nuns with few desires rebuked them, and the precepts were established as before. Furthermore, if a nun knowingly uses water with living beings, she commits a downfall. The nun referred to is Tisha and Nandi Tisha, and others similar to them. Living beings are of two kinds: those visible to the naked eye and those filtered by a water strainer. Using refers to two ways of using water: external and internal. External use refers to activities such as washing. Internal use refers to activities such as eating and drinking. Here, it refers to activities related to internal use. In this regard, if a nun perceives it to be with living beings, or is hesitant, she commits one downfall for each. If she perceives that there are living beings in water without living beings, or is hesitant, she also commits one misdeed for each. Similarly, meat and various vegetables should also be combined with the four continuums in the same way. The twenty-eighth downfall is complete. The teacher was in Rajagriha. At that time, the monk Kundga respectfully, during a great festival, held leftover food in his hand and gave it to the younger of two naked mother and daughter beggars. The elder said, "Venerable Kundga, please wipe it clean with desire." When householders and Brahmins heard this, they ridiculed and scolded, so the Blessed One established the discipline, and the twelve groups said, "The discipline was not established for us." Therefore, food was given to the naked ones again and again. The nuns with few desires ridiculed.

From reproach to the establishment of discipline, it is as before. Furthermore, if any bhikkhuni gives food and drink from her own hand to a naked ascetic, or a naked woman, or a wandering ascetic, or a wandering woman, she commits a patayantika offense. The term "wandering ascetic" refers to those who hold the tenets of the Samkhya school. In this case, if a bhikkhuni gives to her parents who are naked ascetics, or to prevent wrong views, or places the bowl on the ground and distributes separately within it, there is no offense. The twenty-ninth patayantika offense is complete. At that time, the Teacher was residing in Shravasti. At that time, some of the subjects of King Pasenadi, who lived in the mountains, rebelled, and when they were going to attack them, the group of six bhikkhus stopped on the road where the army was marching and ridiculed them, saying, "Your people are like monkeys, the oxen are like pigs, and the horses are like sheep." When the soldiers returned, the king asked why they had returned, and they explained in detail the ridicule of the group of six. The king then requested the Blessed One to establish a precept. The group of twelve said, "This is not for us today." From watching the army's equipment to ridiculing and reproaching over trivial matters, up to the establishment of the discipline, it is as before. Furthermore, if any bhikkhuni goes to watch the army's equipment, except for such a reason, she commits a patayantika offense. The term "army" refers to four types: chariots, oxen, horses, and infantry troops. If one is sitting on the road of the monastery and sees it without intentionally going to watch, there is no offense. The thirtieth patayantika offense is complete. The basis of the story is the same as before. When King Pasenadi's army attacked the people in the mountains, it seemed impossible to win, and the ministers requested, "It would be appropriate to invite someone with great merit here." King Pasenadi invited Anathapindika the householder. Anathapindika the householder stayed there for a long time, becoming pale and emaciated. The king asked him if he missed women or if anything was wrong. The householder replied, "I wish to see the bhikkhus." Then the king invited the group of six bhikkhus to stay there, and they stayed there for a long time watching the army and ridiculing and reproaching them, so the precept was established: "Do not stay for more than two nights." The group of twelve bhikkhunis said, "This is not for us." They stayed for many nights, and the bhikkhus who were of little consequence
