I practice. This Bhikshuni speaks knowingly, not unknowingly. If a Bhikshuni says, "Whatever this Bhikshuni believes in and endures, we also endure," then the Bhikshunis should say to that Bhikshuni, "You, Bhikshuni, are entering into division with the Bhikshuni Sangha that is in harmony. For the sake of division, you knowingly become a friend to her, holding onto disputes and dwelling on them. Following her, you speak divisive words, saying to the Bhikshunis, 'This Bhikshuni speaks the Dharma, speaks the Vinaya. This Bhikshuni truly upholds the Dharma and Vinaya, holding onto them and practicing them. This Bhikshuni speaks knowingly, not unknowingly. Whatever this Bhikshuni believes in and endures, we also believe in and endure.' Do not speak in this way. Why? Because this Bhikshuni speaks what is not the Dharma. This Bhikshuni truly upholds what is not the Dharma and not the Vinaya, holding onto them and practicing them. This Bhikshuni speaks unknowingly, not knowingly. Do not believe in or endure what this Bhikshuni believes in and endures. For the sake of the Sangha being in harmony, gentle, undivided, without disputes, with one mind, with the same intention, like water and milk mixed together, and for the sake of the flourishing of the teachings, abide in comfort. You Bhikshunis, abandon following such divisions of the Sangha and speaking divisive words." Thus, instruct them. After the Bhikshunis have instructed those Bhikshunis in this way, if they give up that thing, then it is good. If they do not give it up, then for the sake of making them give up that thing, they should be truly instructed and truly shown two or three times. After being truly instructed two or three times and truly shown, if they give up that thing, then it is good. If they do not give it up, then this matter should also be expelled for the third time, which is a Sanghavasesa. The name of that Bhikshuni is Tubbhananda. The names of the companion Bhikshunis are Nanda, Upananda, and Tissananda. Following means one faith and one

It is for making union. The so-called "discordant speech" means speaking of separation. One or two or many means two or more are many. The nuns mean those who have entered this Dharma. "Thus it is said" means speaking. "Nun, do not say anything about this nun" means about the coarse joyful woman. "Whether it is good or bad is also acceptable" means that one should not enter into good, nor is it necessary to prevent evil. This nun is a Dharma speaker, a Vinaya speaker, meaning that she speaks according to the Dharma, the Vinaya, and the teachings of the Teacher. This nun means the coarse joyful woman. "Whoever believes and endures, we also believe and endure in them" means that it is actually exhausted. The rest is the same as what was said before. The eighteenth remaining chapter is complete. The Teacher was staying in Shravasti. At that time, in a place called Worm Mountain, there were twelve groups of nuns, including Joyful Woman, Near Joyful Woman, and Coarse Joyful Woman, and their retinues, all of whom were engaged in the practice of ruining households, approaching men, flattering them, sitting together on one seat, eating from one vessel, drinking many kinds of wine from one bowl, performing dances and songs, causing others to perform dances and songs, giving rewards to those skilled in musical instruments, piling up clothes, baring their chests, and making various sounds of animals such as elephants. They also fought like wrestlers, and caused others to wrestle. By doing these non-ascetic deeds and other things, they caused future nuns not to come to Worm Mountain, and those who had already come abandoned it, saying it was a place of sinful nuns. Then many nuns traveled and went to Worm Mountain. These nuns went to Worm Mountain in the morning to beg for alms. They returned as if they had washed their bowls, and having obtained no alms at all, they thought, "In this Worm Mountain, in the past, it was abundant and vast, filled with many people, and one could also obtain alms. Now we are returning with empty bowls. Are the disciples of the Teacher like children, unclear, and unskilled, speaking many evil words to men and women of good families?"
