Because of understanding these, since others cannot know, it is unparalleled knowledge. Knowing without error, like knowing in the three ways just mentioned, and knowing the Dharma's nature of Dharma as it is, without any mistake. Or, because of knowing the twelve sources, it is also called all-knowing. It is also said in the scriptures that the Brahmin asked: Is the name of the Blessed One called all-knowing given by his parents, or is it named by virtue? The Buddha replied: Brahmin, my name is called all-knowing because it is named by virtue, because I know the twelve sources. The Brahmin asked: In that case, it is unreasonable to name consciousness as all-knowing. The Buddha replied: Because external sources and internal sources gather and produce consciousness, they are summarized into twelve sources, so there is no contradiction in calling it all-knowing. Taking perfect compassion as freedom, it is said, "Obtained the treasure trove." Just as a treasure needs a warehouse. The treasure refers to the three kinds of excellent Dharma mentioned earlier by the Tathagata, and the storehouse is the Sravaka Bhikshus and others. It is also said in the scriptures: There is no teacher like the Buddha, no guide like the true Dharma, and no container like the Sangha. This is also obtained by the blessing of the compassion of the Blessed One, so it is called perfect compassion. Taking the perfection of the excellent fruit as freedom, it is said, "The feet are crowned with the jewel of Brahma's crown." Adorned with the virtues of marks and characteristics, the feet of the Buddha, the Blessed One, are crowned by Brahma, the master of the first Dhyana of the form realm, who is also called Lotus Born, and the king of the thirty-three heavens, who is also called Indra, also called Thousand Eyes, because he has a jewel on his crown. If he prostrates, let alone, this is especially shown. Taking the perfection of one's own benefit as freedom, it is said, "Transcending the bottomless sea of suffering."

Furthermore, suffering is called three and eight. What are the three? They are the suffering of conditioning, the suffering of change, and the suffering of suffering. The eight are: birth, old age, sickness, death, separation from what is loved, encounter with what is not loved, not obtaining what is desired, and the suffering of the flourishing of the five aggregates. The saying "like an ocean without end" is a metaphor. Just as the ocean has no shore on the other side and no end to its depths, making it difficult to cross, so too are the sufferings that arise from the accumulation of karma and afflictions since beginningless time, like an ocean without end, difficult to cross. Therefore, only the Tathagata alone has crossed it, so this is called the perfection of one's own benefit. The two Bodhisattvas have also not failed to cross those sufferings, but were later repeated by the Tathagata. In order to show the first one to cross, it is said "alone." Or, the two Bodhisattvas have only crossed suffering, but have not realized the true nature of suffering as it is, so there is no contradiction in saying "the Tathagata alone." If someone asks: Suffering is like an ocean without end, and the Tathagata has already crossed it, why is it said to be without end since it has already been crossed? The term "without end" refers to the attachment of ordinary beings. From countless eons, one has diligently practiced austerities, perfected the grounds and paramitas, and naturally accomplished the omniscient wisdom. For the one who has crossed, it is not without end, so there is no contradiction. Incidentally, in order to explain the perfect result of accomplishment, it is said: "I prostrate with my head to the lord of beings." Here, "beings" refers to the beings who continuously cycle in the three realms due to the power of karma and afflictions, that is, the beings of the five or six realms. And their lord is the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. The term "lord" here belongs to the category of names such as supreme, noble, and special. At the time of prostration, at the correct gathering of taming, the noble Near Protector also made obeisance. In order to explain the place where the Sutra of Individual Liberation is taught, the teachings of the Omniscient One are treas
