Why shouldn't I give this girl in marriage? Why shouldn't I take this boy as a wife? Even if one says, 'Why doesn't this boy go to his father-in-law's house?' it is acceptable. But if one asks, 'Why doesn't this girl go to her husband's house?' it becomes a transgression. With four limbs, it becomes a residue, that is, the ransom that a human woman can endure, even what was not previously gathered is gathered. The first residue is complete. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Shravasti. At that time, many joyful women were fighting, quarreling, and disputing, and they were falsely accusing the nuns of unfounded defeat. Therefore, the nuns were depressed and discouraged, and their reading, recitation, and mindfulness deteriorated, and they were unhappy and dwelling [in that state]. Having informed the Teacher of this situation, the precepts were established. Furthermore, if a nun, being angry and harming out of anger, thinking, 'By any means, I will separate this person from the pure conduct,' then falsely accuses a pure and innocent nun of unfounded defeat, whether she is questioned at another time or not, the dispute also becomes unfounded. And if the nun, abiding in anger, speaks out of anger, then she also falls into transgression by these two dharmas, and it should be expelled, it is a Sanghavasesa. Moreover, 'nun' refers to the joyful women. 'Anger' refers to quarreling. 'Harming out of anger' refers to being displeased and not giving up the quarrel. 'By any means, I will separate this person from the pure conduct' means 'By any means, I will associate this person with the work of a renunciate.' 'Pure nun' refers to one who has entered this dharma. 'Innocent' refers to one who has not committed a transgression. 'Unfounded' refers to one who has not seen, heard, or suspected. 'Defeat' refers to any of the eight. 'Dharma' refers to proclaiming what is not dharma as dharma. 'Accusation' refers to slander. 'At another time' refers to a later time. 'Whether questioned' refers to others. 'Whether not questioned' refers to oneself arising regret and being extremely regretful. 'The dispute also becomes unfounded' refers to

So there are four kinds of disputes: the dispute of fighting, the dispute of not reconciling, the dispute of falling, and the dispute of action. The so-called "rootless" is the same as before. The bhikkhuni also, the so-called dwelling in hatred, refers to wanting to slander others. The so-called "anger" refers to defamation. The so-called "this Dharma also" is the same as before. The so-called "falling from the very beginning" refers to falling as soon as it happens. The so-called "expulsion" refers to being expelled. The so-called "sanghavasesa" is the same as before. So what is falling? If you slander a pure bhikkhuni, you will fall in ten ways. In five ways, you will not fall. If you slander an impure bhikkhuni, you will fall in eleven ways. In six ways, you will not fall. Among them, if you slander a pure bhikkhuni, you will be at fault in ten ways, that is, for what she has not seen, not heard, and does not doubt, she hides her thoughts, but says, "I have seen, I have heard, I doubt"; and after forgetting what she had previously heard and doubted, she says, "I have heard, I doubt, I have not forgotten"; and believes what she has heard; and does not believe what she has heard, but says, "I have seen"; and doubts what she has heard; and does not doubt what she has heard, but says, "I have seen"; and for what she doubts, she still doubts, but says, "I have not seen." No matter how you say these ten situations, each one will become a sanghavasesa. So what are the five ways in which you will not fall? That is, for what she has not seen, not heard, and does not doubt, she does not hide her thoughts, but says, "I have not seen, not heard, and do not doubt"; and for what she has heard and doubted, after forgetting, she does not hide her thoughts,

Just as one leads to offense and six do not, so too should accusations against a bhikkhuni appearing impure be applied. If everyone knows as I know through beating, painting, and my own knowledge, there is no offense. It becomes a sanghavasesa through four factors: wanting to separate, concealing perception, making accusations, and understanding the meaning of others. The second sanghavasesa is complete. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, was dwelling in Sravasti. At that time, Bhomma-gandha, due to a slight matter, accused the bhikkhunis, and the bhikkhus reported this to the Bhagavan, who then established the training rules. Furthermore, if a bhikkhuni who is hateful, being angry, harms, thinking, 'By any means, I will break the brahmacharya,' accuses a pure and innocent bhikkhuni of a parajika offense that does not belong to her, whether asked at another time or not, the dispute also becomes one that does not belong to her, and because it does not belong to her, the dispute merely takes some dharma from a slight part. If the bhikkhuni also dwells in hatred, being angry, speaks, then this dharma will fall from the beginning and should be confessed; it is a sanghavasesa of the sangha. The others are the same as before. 'Not belonging to another' means taking a part from another thing and accusing another. Furthermore, 'another' means other than samsara. What is not in accordance with samsara is nirvana; because it is not a part of nirvana, accusing with eight parajikas. 'The dispute also becomes one that does not belong to another' refers to the four disputes: dispute because of disagreement, dispute because of lack of instruction, dispute because of offense, and dispute because of action. 'Because it does not belong to another, the dispute merely takes some dharma from a slight part' is like this: a male deer and a female deer. The factors are the same as before. If asked, what is the nature of the offense? If a bhikkhuni sees a bhikkhuni committing a parajika offense, and she thinks, 'This is not a parajika offense,' and then, pursuing perception, says, 'I saw the bhikkhuni committing a parajika offense,' then it becomes a sanghavasesa.
