It shows the action. Therefore, it is said from "having morality" to "seeing the pacified is happiness." The virtuous friend also has two aspects: the conventional and the ultimate virtuous friend. Among them, the so-called conventional virtuous friend is said to be "seeing the one with morality is happiness, hearing a lot is happiness." The conventional virtuous friend also has two aspects: abiding in the limb of calm abiding and abiding in the limb of insight. The so-called "seeing the one with morality is happiness" is combined with abiding in the limb of calm abiding. Among them, the so-called having morality means abandoning the faults of nature and co-emergence. Among them, the so-called faults of nature mean that which is naturally unwholesome, harmful to oneself and others, completely afflicting and harmful. For the enacted, practicing will lead to falling into bad destinies; for the unenacted, practicing will hinder the behavior of practitioners. The so-called having enacted faults means that which the Bhagavan abandoned for the sake of inconsistent signs, for the sake of respecting the holy Dharma, for the sake of being consistent with the faults of nature, for the sake of guarding the minds of others, for the sake of good destinies, life, and hindering the behavior of practitioners, the practice of those is called enacted faults. The so-called "hearing a lot is happiness" is combined with abiding in the limb of insight. Among them, the so-called hearing a lot refers to the three baskets, namely the Sutra Pitaka, the Vinaya Pitaka, and the Abhidharma Pitaka. One who is proficient in the Sutra Pitaka, his own view will not be confused, and he will be able to subdue the heretics. One who is proficient in the Vinaya Pitaka will be able to know falling and not falling, heavy and light, allowed and not allowed. One who is proficient in the Abhidharma Pitaka will be able to know the order of what to meditate on first and what to meditate on later. In addition, there are five qualities of hearing a lot: being proficient in realms, sources, dependent origination, places and non-places, and prophecies that do not depend on others. In this way, having morality and hearing a lot

Seeing such virtuous friends is considered a source of happiness because it prevents misconduct and dispels doubts. Why are these two called conventional? Because although they have abandoned the cause of samsara and have generally moved away from sins, they are not beyond learning, so they are called conventional. The truly meaningful virtuous friend is: Seeing the Arhat who is liberated from rebirth is happiness. Thus it is said. Rebirth refers to the cause of future rebirths, namely karma and afflictions. Liberation from these is the Arhat, that is, the nirvana with remainder or without remainder. Arhat, (Arhan, Devanagari: अर्हन्, Romanization: arhan, Literal meaning: worthy) means that the afflictions that are like enemies have been destroyed, so it is called Arhat. Another explanation is that because it is worthy of offerings from all beings such as gods and humans, it is also called "worthy." But here, because the importance of meaning is emphasized, it is called Arhat. Happiness comes from the object to be obtained, as it is said. Furthermore, the comfortable river crossing brings happiness, as it is said. This is a metaphor, just as a river flows from its bed, relying on a comfortable crossing without cliffs and dangers, one can happily reach the other shore. Those who want to attain liberation like a river should also rely on individual liberation and the noble path that avoids the extremes of permanence and annihilation. If liberation is attained, happiness can be obtained, therefore individual liberation and the noble path are regarded as a comfortable crossing, and liberation is regarded as a river. To show that having practice is the cause of happiness, it is said: The beings of the Dharma King are happy, obtaining excellent wisdom is happiness, and the exhaustion of pride is happiness. The Dharma King refers to the one who has conquered the disharmonious side with the Dharma of practice, that is, the noble path, so he is called the Dharma King. The meaning here is: obtaining excellent wisdom is happiness, and the exhaustion of pride is happiness. This shows that the noble path completely cuts off the flag of pride of the disharmonious side with the sword of wisdom. Beings are happy.
