Also. Absence of dispute based on teachings is other than those instances. Here, 'dispute' refers to the third instance, as there is no reliance on teachings in this case. Disputes due to faults also have four aspects: having faults without dispute, having dispute without faults, having faults with dispute, and having no faults without dispute. Among these, having faults without dispute refers to faults ranging from defeat to minor offenses having occurred, but without fighting or similar actions. Having dispute without faults refers to disagreements, lack of reliance on teachings, and disputes over actions, but without disputes due to faults. Having faults with dispute refers to instances where faults ranging from defeat to minor offenses have occurred, leading to fighting, scolding, resentment, and quarrels. Having no faults without dispute refers to instances other than those mentioned. Here, 'dispute due to faults' refers to the third instance. Disputes due to actions also have four aspects: having actions without dispute, having dispute without actions, having both actions and dispute, and having no actions with dispute. Among these, having actions without dispute refers to instances where actions such as offering are present, but without fighting or similar actions. Having dispute without actions refers to disagreements, lack of reliance on teachings, and disputes due to faults, but without disputes due to actions. Having both actions and dispute refers to instances where fighting, scolding, resentment, and quarrels occur due to actions such as offering. Having no actions without dispute refers to instances other than those mentioned. Here, 'dispute due to actions' refers to the third instance. This is called the explanation of the classification of disputes. In the two parts of what is called showing the antidotes to disputes, the first part, showing the disputes, has been explained. Here, what is called showing the peaceful Dharma is shown. This is also divided into four aspects: showing the place of those peaceful Dharmas, showing the individual characteristics of the objects of learning, the conclusion, and the question of complete purification. The establishment of those places is: These seven Dharmas for pacifying disputes are in the half-month

It is said that this comes from reciting the Pratimoksha Sutra. The explanation of the nature of the objects of learning is also divided into two: a general indication and a detailed explanation of that itself. Among these, the so-called general indication is: The general indication is: manifest, mindfulness, not intoxicated, | Likewise, whatever is numerous, the very nature, | Like grass spread out, | And also to be promised. This is what is said. The so-called detailed explanation of that itself is: to those who should be tamed manifestly, give manifest taming; to those who should be tamed by mindfulness, give taming by mindfulness; to those who should be tamed by non-intoxication, give taming by non-intoxication; whatever, to those who should be given many precepts, give many precepts; to those who should be put into seeking its own nature, give seeking its own nature; to those who should be like spreading grass, give like spreading grass; to those who come to promise, one should promise, this is what is said. These are also indicated by what pacifies what, and by showing the nature of each. Among these, if there is a dispute by those who speak differently, it should be pacified by two things: by manifest taming and by accepting many precepts. Among these, the so-called manifest taming refers to three people: the disputant, the respondent, and the impartial person being present. The disputant should speak after considering these sixteen aspects of meaning: truth, time, measure, meaningful, seeing, hearing, doubt, body and speech, village, monastery, night, what is done during the day, remaining unfinished, remaining finished, able to question. The disputant speaks, but his words are not valued in five cases: the reason is not determined, words passed from one to another, grasping the reason from words of one who has not taken full ordination, not understanding the sutras, not understanding the place. Conversely, five cases are valued. The respondent should also consider these sixteen aspects of meaning and distinguish the situation: does this person have discipline? Does he have remorse? Is he learned? Does he determine taming? Does he speak from seeing? And so on, the twelve cases are the same as before. The respondent's words should not be valued
