From the time of dwelling there, the Blessed One taught: "Do not look in order to mock the bowl of the bhikkhuni standing before you," up to this point. Then, another householder invited the bhikkhuni sangha, and in a gathering of faith and joy, there was a bhikkhuni wearing tattered robes, and they soiled the tattered robes with water used to wash the bowls, up to the point of mockery. They said: "You wretched defiled one, do you have such tattered robes?" From this point, the Blessed One taught: "One should train not to throw water contaminated with food at the bhikkhuni standing before you," up to this point. Then, the twelve groups of women held water vessels with hands contaminated with food, and the remnants of food attracted bees to gather, and the householders saw this and began to mock. The Blessed One taught: "One should train not to hold water vessels with hands contaminated with food," up to this point. Whenever, on Mount Spalkara, speaking from the Kokanda pavilion, it was not permitted to discard water contaminated with food inside the house, and if relying on another householder, one was allowed to discard it after asking the householder who was present. Then, the twelve groups of women discarded it inside the house without asking. The Blessed One taught: "One should train not to pour water contaminated with food into the house without asking the householder who is dwelling there," up to this point. When in Shravasti, a son of a Brahmin became mentally disturbed and went to Jeta Grove and sprinkled water from another bhikkhu's bowl, and he later regained his senses.

From placing the alms bowl haphazardly on ground without a base, the Blessed One taught: "One should not place the alms bowl in a place without a base," until that point. Then, the twelve groups of women stood up and took out the alms bowl, and the Blessed One taught: "One should train not to take out the alms bowl while standing," until that point. A young bhikkhuni was washing the alms bowl while standing, and the bhikkhunis said: "Sister, do not wash the alms bowl while standing." She said: "What will happen?" While washing the alms bowl, it will fall from my hand, and the alms bowl will break. They said: "That will happen." The Blessed One taught: "One should not wash the alms bowl while standing," until that point. Then, the twelve groups of women placed the alms bowl in the middle of the road, and the Blessed One taught: "One should not place the alms bowl in the middle of the road," until that point. Then, the twelve groups of women placed the alms bowl on a pile of garbage, and then the alms bowl broke, and the Blessed One taught: "One should not place the alms bowl on a pile of garbage," until that point. Similarly, placing it on a cliff, placing it on a steep slope, washing it, drying it, preventing it from the flow of a strong stream, making the alms bowl a source of ten kinds of water. The Blessed One taught: "One should not place it on a pile of garbage, not on a cliff, not on a steep slope, placing the alms bowl, washing it, drying it, preventing it from the flow of a strong stream, one should train not to make the alms bowl a source of ten kinds of water," until that point. In short: Not standing, not wearing a head covering, not an elephant, not a palanquin, not in the hand. One should not excrete in grass and water, one should not climb a tree as tall as a person. Then, the twelve groups of women were standing and sitting and teaching the Dharma, and the Blessed One taught: "One should not teach," from a sick person coming and teaching: "One should not teach the Dharma while standing to someone who is not sick," until that point. Similarly, teaching the Dharma while sitting to someone who is lying down, teaching: "One should not teach while sitting to someone who is lying down and not sick," until that point. Similarly, teaching the Dharma while sitting from a low seat to a high seat, teaching: "One should not teach to someone who is not sick
